I had to go to a seminar in York, PA, so I drove up (from DC) and stayed here. I booked through Hotwire.com with "unpublished price" of $70. I think the going rate is about $120.
The location was great for my needs. The hotel has a huge parking lot and is kind of by itself on a service road, but within 5 miles/5 minutes drive there is: TGIFridays, Ruby Tuesdays, Olive Garden, a diner, a movie theatre, and Toys/Kids R Us. A little farther down Route 30 there are fast food restaurants galore.
I arrived at the hotel around 7 pm, and checked in immediantly. They had originally booked me and my co-worker for a room with a King-size bed and a queen-size pull-out. We requested to switch to a room with 2 double beds and there was no problem. The receptionist handed us a nifty map where she circled our room and pointed out the on-site restaurant and lounge (bar) We were on the first floor right outside the lobby (room 118) On the other side of the map was the hotels location on the streets so when we asked where to go for dinner, she pointed out how to get to the shopping center with all the wonderful restaurants listed above.
When we first walked in the room, the A/C was on (when its 50 degress outside!) so we turned on the heat and the room was warm within 10 minutes. In the middle of the night I had to get up and turn it off because it was too hot. There was a desk with a very comfy leather chair on wheels as well as a stuffed chair. Everything looked new and very clean. I always check the sheets and mattress and saw nothing amiss. In fact, the mattress looked brand new and had a pillow top.
The shower got very hot and the water pressure was glorious. Towels were nice material and bar soap wasnt too bad. I slept like a rock, the beds were extremely comfortable. I like soft mattresses and this one did not disappoint. The TV only had 15 channels (normal news channels as well as TNT, TBS, Discovery, 2 childrens channels, etc) I did not hear any neighbors or maids. We left around 7am and there was a newspaper that had been slid underneath our door waiting for us.
They had the hotel decorated for Halloween, it was really nice. Lots of carved pumpkins, which we were asked to vote on! Both times I went to the front desk they were friendly and helpful.
They have an indoor pool and whirlpool as well as an outdoor pool. I didnt not go and check these out. Check-out is noon and Check-in is 4 pm. There is free Wi-Fi with a password given at check-in. I was using my netbook and my co-worker used her tablet with no problems, wasnt slow at all.
