We were there for a wedding and only stayed for one night. The room was VERY comfortable, and the beds were too with soft high thread count sheets and layers of softness -- I was pleasantly surprised. Also ate at Knickers Pub, one of the two pubs all the way in the basement??
The sweet potato fries were great. I had a blackened tuna, which was dry unfortunately. The soup was salty but we were hungry. My son's club sandwich was yummy with lots of fries. I would go back just for the sweet potato fries!
The bathroom was small and in need of renovation, and the hotel service was so-so -- small-town. The restaurant service was friendly and fast (the woman); I say this because overhearing the table near us, their male waiter kept apologizing for the delay as he was running in out to the golf course. The price was reasonable and was value for money.
There is a spa on the premises, but I didn;t dare when I read the list of "smelly moisturizing" services -- any spa that pushes their coconut, lemon, chocolate, grape, white tea, vanilla, etc facials -- makes me wonder. Manicures were $35, pedicures $50. Smelly facials were more -- no massage info in the room. I think it is predominantly a golfer's place.
Wedding service was not so good at reception -- delay in serving kids -- no wine until dinner ended. Sparkling wine for toast was barely in glass -- served unusually sparingly. Food was good, warm not hot.
Room Tip: View of golf would be best.
