This remains our choice of place to stay in south York after many years. We always take a suite which supplies a fridge, microwave, and separate living room with sofabed. We've never noticed them slacking on the upkeep, and almost without exception the front desk staff have been friendly and capable. Rates are in line with comparable properties--possibly even a bit cheaper.

The decor is not exciting or bright, but they clean and maintain it well. The bed was very comfortable this last time, and even on the interstate side of the hotel, road noise was easily masked by the fan, so we slept well. The complimentary breakfast is kept well-stocked with hot items like waffles and eggs, and coffee is available all day in the lobby.

They have an indoor pool for wearing out the kids and a small fitness center for wearing out the parents. Wi-fi is free. We appreciate having the Ruby Tuesday next door, especially if the weather is poor so we don't need to venture far for a meal.

My wife's mother lives in York, and every time we visit, we look forward to staying at the Country Inn and Suites. We have stayed there many times over the course of years, and it has held up very well. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is great, the exercise room is nice, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. It also happens to be in a very convenient location for our purposes, but we would be reluctant to stay anywhere else.

We just returned from a stay at Country Inn & Suites in York, PA. The hotel was clean and the front desk service was exceptional. The free breakfast was not only good, but very convenient.Krystle at the front desk was extremely helpful. She recommended places for us to eat in York and also answered all of our questions about the hotel and the area. This was our 4th trip to this particular hotel and we are going back next week. Our son attends school at York College of Pennsylvania and this hotel has always been great. No surprises----always clean and a good value for the price.

Due to an electrical outage at our home, my husband and I checked in to the Country Inn & Suites in York, PA. We spent 3 nights at this hotel and it was a very pleasant experience! The staff were wonderful and the rooms were very clean. It was also nice that breakfast was included and offered many choices. It was unfortunate that we had to stay at a hotel, but it was a good choice for our home away from home! I would highly recommend this hotel.
