We always stay here when we attend the Toy Show at the York Fairgrounds. The rate is good and the room was clean, inviting and the bathroom was spacious, unlike some other hotels. The lady who assisted us with check in was very helpful and the lady in the morning for check out was very helpful and told us about the discount at Perkins next door and did tell me about the nice buffet they serve at the hotel. We stay here every time in York and highly recommend it as I have stayed at others and this is the top of the list for us.

We unexpectedly found ourselves staying here for 3 nights in October when an ice storm hit our area and we were left without power for days. We were able to make reservations and get in on short notice, and renew our reservations by the day as we found that our power was still not on. Interacted with 3 different desk staff; only 1 wasn't friendly. Maintenance people very helpful when needed.

For $71/night, this place is a decent value. The room was huge, and clean enough--not "shiny bright," but not dirty or objectionable. Adequately furnished and appointed. The on-site Mexican restaurant is excellent. We sometimes have guests visit this area, and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The location is great, very convenient to shopping, other restaurants within walking and short driving distances. It's right on Rt. 462 and close to I-83 and Route 30. Easy access to Lancaster, Gettysburg, Baltimore, and Harrisburg.

I wouldn't pay $100/night for it, but for what it costs, it's a fine place to stay, especially for a family. Pool looks great, but, of course, was closed in October!

Although an older facility....it was reasonably clean and neat.....employees very helpful....good location

I have been staying here for over 6 years. Yes, it is an older hotel and does need some updating but the staff will go out of there way to help you anyway they can. My last experience was when our electric went out for days. They allowed us to check in earlier then there normal time. I had a hard time getting my internet connection. The staff was right there helping me. Even though it needs some updating , the rooms are very clean. Also , there breakfast is very good as well..
