“All other B&B's in Lancaster County cannot compare.”

My wife and I had the extreme pleasure of staying with Jaimie and Steve at the Apple Bin Inn over Thanksgiving this year.. We couldn't have asked for more kind, cordial, and perfect Inn Keepers. I have stayed in other Bed and Breakfasts in Lancaster County, and the Apple Bin Inn is the cream of the crop. The rooms are quiet and maintained wonderfully. The main room for guests is adorned with actual antique pictures of Jaimie and Steve's family, only adding to the hominess that is so well displayed. Also in the great room is a serious library with some of histories greatest writers from Tolstoy to Homer. The amount of detail that Jaimie puts into breakfast is astonishing, making sure every particular is perfect. Steve is an absolute gentleman, and is possibly the most personal host we have ever had. You may enter as a stranger but by the time you leave, your are a member of the family. I will never stay at another Bed and Breakfast if I am within driving distance to the Apple Bin Inn.

“First time, but definitely not the last”

What a wonderful and pleasant surprise ! Jamie and Steve were the perfect host and hostess. A charming B&B, with comfortable, large rooms and breakfasts that rival none. Great fruit courses followed by delectable sweet or savory entrees. Oh, and did I mention Jamie's to die for Tennessee biscuits? No detail was overlooked. Breakfasts always included lively and interesting conversations. Steve and Jamie are well versed in all the area activities and can help you to find an activity, restaurant or great show. This was our first time at the Inn, but definitely not our last. I highly recommend the Inn. We'll be back!!

Once again we had the most wonderful stay at the Apple Bin Inn. Staying here is just what we needed:):):) Breakfasts are so filling you won't need to eat lunch. Jamie and Steve make us feel like family:):):) They are most welcoming. We feel like we are at home. Can't wait for our next visit.

“Wonderful Time...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

My husband and I along with two great friends stayed at the Apple Bin for their Wedding Anniversary. What a wonderful wonderful time we had.
We stayed at the 2 bedroom cottage and we are so glad we did. Its very private and clean. The rooms can use a little updating but all in all well kept. The property in beautiful. I loved getting up in the mornings and just standing outside and enjoying the site. The owners are great, very friendly and humble. The breakfast is unbelievable!!! My husband stated that would be the main reason we will return.

The other guest were just a blessing to be around. The Inn is close to everything so it was easy to get around. If you like history and just enjoying time with friends and family Lancaster is your place!
It was just an amazing time we had and we are Diffidently heading back soon!

“Wonderful return visit”

It's hard to believe it's been exactly one year since our last visit to the Apple Bin Inn. When we walked into the inn and were greeted with warm hugs by Jamie and Steve the months melted away and it seemed as if we were seeing old friends after just a few weeks. During our weekend stay we were able to catch up on news of the past 12 months just like we would at a family reunion. Last year we stayed in the Gala Suite and this year we stayed in the Empire Room. Each room has its own charming characteristics but both are in pristine condition and impeccably clean. The main room downstairs where guests can gather before breakfast is extremely comfortable with a huge collection of books and DVD's to borrow. Speaking of breakfast ............ this is a memorable experience that we ALWAYS look forward to on each visit! We've had four breakfasts in our two trips and each has been outstanding. On our first days we had a baked peach pancake that was absolutely delicious. During our second breakfast we started the meal off with a cranberry apple cobbler that was so wonderful that it is still making return visits to my taste buds. Each of these highlights was followed up my many other delightful treats. The Apple Bin Inn is also centrally located to all of the main attractions in the area. It is only about 10 minutes away from downtown Lancaster and the major Amish attractions are all within a 30 minute drive, at most. Jamie and Steve, thank you again for another terrific stay. We look forward to our next return visit next year.
