We stayed at the Williamsport Cadlewood Suites in June of 2011. Our family was having a wedding nearby, and had a deal with Best Western, but I can say that staying at Candlewood was a better decision, and the price was higher by only a few dollars. Our suite was perfect! Queen bed (super comfy), vanity, flat screen TV in the room, living room with relciner and flat screen TV, galley style kitchen with all the dishes and utensils you'd ever need, and cabinets to store whatever you bring along. Full size fridge with icemaker was a hit! Also, if you were going to invite someone to vist you here, you'd have plenty of room. It felt like being at home, an we didn't want to leave. Parking was the only downfall here, since there were many construction type pickup trucks in the lot, finding a space for our car was difficult. It seems as though certain companies house their workers at or near this location.

I was very dissappointed....We came on a business trip with my husban and brought our 3 children, We stayed in the King Suite, It was really nice when we walked in until we turned the covers down on the bed and there was hair everywhere! The pillows were dirty with hair all over them. I think they had just made the bed up and didn't clean the room! There was hair on the nightstands, It was everywhere! I went into the bathroom and I guess a man had shaved that morning because hair from an electric razor was all over the sink. All in all I was very upset. I called the front desk and she was very nice and apologized, brought me some clean sheets but it was to late I did not sleep well at all! I will never stay at this place again! Also the rooms are priced at $190 a night for a suite so you would expect them to be very clean!

Travel to Williamsport lots for business. Had a reservation which they did not honor. Reservation was made two weeks in advance, they even sent confirmation email two days before stay. They constantly overbook and if you do not arrive early, do not expect a room, or at least not a room at this hotel. This place is a disgrace to the Holiday Inn chain. Management and workers do not care. Try to stay in the other local Holiday Inns or the Hampton Inn.

I am a business traveler and I have normally had luck with Candlewoods. However, a condom wrapper on floor and soiled matress cover is very sad. How can they miss these kind of things? Makes me wonder if they even changed the sheets. The clerk at the front desk did not care. Very dissapointing. What else can I say?
