We just recently stayed at this hotel in spite of some of the horrible reviews I read. We checked in at 12:30 am and the lobby was being renovated, but the boy working behind the counter had not swept the leaves out of the entry way or anything. When we got in our room it looked okay at first, but when I pulled the sheets down I was completely grossed out! It looked like someone just got out of the bed because there were small black hairs all over the sheets. I pulled the comforter back and started to look close and saw a gross hair from ??? well I will leave your minds to figure that out. I brought my own blanket and me and my husband slept with it. We had just traveled 13 hrs to get there so we wanted to complain, but just didn't want to really go through the trouble. The power of the whole hotel went out as soon as we got there, but came back on and the TV?? the picture was red and there was no way to fix it. We went down to the lobby and told the kid, but he looked out of it and did not even apologize or anything. We told him that we needed power b/c our phone had to charge and we had to get up at a certain time and the boy just said, "can't you just set your phone? " Well we could if the phone had power!!!! I felt uneasy about this place and could not sleep and really wished we would have just slept in the car. The hallway reminded me of the movie "The Shining" if you know what I mean!! I would not waste my money if I were you this place is gross and besides the hairs on the sheets the comforters had stains. One last thing, when the maids were cleaning the room I only saw sheets being replaced not the comforters which explains hairs.. EWW please take my word, sleeping in your care would be better than this place.

I travel periodically, business and pleasure; I generally stay at Marriott, Hilton for pleasure, though. Took a chance and was pleasantly suprised! We chose a suite - had enough room without being too big. Was some minor renovation -tiling, but it wasn't at all in the way. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast bar was great; we came at the end, and there could have been more yogurt; everyone seemed to enjoy making waffles and other goodies. Convenient to QVC and Delaware shopping. I found out there is a new manager who appears to be upgrading. I rate this hotel and especially the staff a good find. I plan to stay there again, next month.

This hotel has done a wonderful job with its improvements! The rooms look wonderful and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We had a great visit and will definitely choose this location again when we are in the area!

Have been on the road for two weeks vacationing. West Chester Microtel Inn & Suites was the nicest motel we have visited. The staff was always courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay with them again.
