I was the bride of a wedding held at Faunbrook in September 2010. Beautiful place, it was a breathtaking wedding. Many of my family members said it was like a "fairytale." This place is ideal for a wedding under 75 people, like mine was. Very intimate, and very unique wedding. Lori and Steve are great, very laid back and professional at the same time.
By the way, most delicious breakfast ever!!

My husband and I were married in the courtyard of Faunbrook September of 2010. The setting was beautiful and Steve and Lori went out of their way to make it even more so with new mums and hanging white lights around the iron lattice on the porch.

Our families stayed at the B&B for the weekend and had nothing but rave reviews for the house and Lori and Steve. My sister in law from California commented that she was jealous that my husband and I can go back for our anniversaries which we plan to do.

This is our 5th time staying at Faunbrook over the past years since we had our wedding reception there. The at-home atmosphere along with Steve and Lori (Inkeepers), make this a wonderful place to stay. We have now stayed in 5 different rooms in the place and all have been comfortable, well appointed, and elegant. There is much history to this property and each time we visit, we find out something new. We have stayed in many B & B's across the country, and this place is an excellent value!!! Planning to get away again and sty there over the holidays!

We enjoyed both aspects of this B&B. We were there for an event and were lucky enough to stay for a getaway. A friend of my wife had her husband's surprise party here. It was a sit down dinner for around 20 people. The hosts, Lori and Steve, pulled it off without a hitch. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, and the house was really cool. Being a history freak, it was really cool to hear about the lineage of the house. It is apparently one of the houses of the great families of West Chester, the Darlingtons. Anyone who wanted it was given a tour and all questions were answered with a nice personal touch. The owners seem to really love the house and it shows.

My wife and I also stayed in Isabel's Room. The room was really nice. The claw footed tub, which I imagine weighed some insane amount, made me wonder how it was placed in the bathroom. My wife loved the canopy bed and I thought that it was really comfortable. We have also had friends stay here and all come away with the same result, great!

BTW - Although we live in town, it was really nice to get away from the kids for a night. Also, It is really close to West Chester University, probably the closest accommodations to the school. It is also a good starting point for touring the Brandywine Valley and about fifty minutes either way, east for Philadelphia, west for Lancaster County. Also, the Creme Brulee French toast was awesome. It is close to town which has a ton of restaurants.
