This was a really nice hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely and the hotel was easy to find. They have a snack bar in the evenings which is excellent for a jetlagged traveller, and they also had a little shop of snacks too. The internet conncetion was also good.

This motel was one of the nicest roadside inns I've been in. The facility is clean, well appointed, and offers a very nice breakfast. The employees were efficient and very pleasant plus the room was a bit larger than normal. For us, it was a very pleasant stopover for a trip to the Jersey shore. I don't have a single negative comment I can make.

Just spent an incredibly restful night at the very clean, quiet Comfort Inn and Suites in the Brandywine Valley of PA. The 2 queen bedroom on the second floor, non-smoking room overlooking a grove of trees in the back of the hotel was surprisingly quiet for being located on a busy highway. The bed was one of the most comfortable of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Lots of pillows. Check in was a breeze, the employees very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast this morning was typical fare but who can complain about free food? When I return to this area I will definitely book a room here again. It's a great location for visiting the Brandywine Museum and Longwood Gardens.

On October 7th and 8th, we were staying in the area to attend an AKC Spaniel Hunt Test. We had our dog but kept him in the vehicle outside. There are grassy areas outside to air one's dog. The Comfort Inn was perfect. We had a non-smoking room on the second floor. The room didn't smell like tobacco like some other "non-smoking" rooms in hotels sometimes do. The room was quite spacious and clean. The pool was fun and warm - but a bit over chlorinated - had it been correct - I would have given the place an Excellent rating. The breakfast was SUPERB with waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bread, and pastries along with juice, milk, coffee and tea. We all enjoyed our breakfasts.

We ran our hunt test on Saturday and had an afternoon to kill - we ended up driving a short distance down the road into Wilmington, DE and went to the Brandywhine Zoo and to the Natural History Museum too. Both were freebies for us as we have zoo and museum memberships from our hometown that have reciprocal agreements with these too places so our visits were free! BONUS!
