“Not bad, but not the best”

We stayed here on the way south for the winter. Clean and comfortable; good beds; good breakfast. The wifi did not work, although they had a terminal in the lobby. We found the price to be way out of line, for the location and the time of year (it was $30 more than a similar Comfort Inn farther south). When we do this trip again next year, we will look for another better-priced place. My issue here is 100% based on the price.

“overpriced.”

I stayed at this hotel for one night because of work The room was clean and well kept the bed was comfortable the wi fi was terrible for a hotel of this price. Pages not loading etc. Nice flat screen tv, to bad you only had a few channels to choose from, went to breakfast the next morning and all the hot items eggs, bacon, sausage were gone and never replaced. Checked out and asked for a receipt they could not give me one seems strange. I travel alot and would have to say this hotel is overpriced for what they offer...

“Just your average Comfort Inn”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

I really have no complaints or anything that makes me want to excited about. It's simply what you would expect from a Comfort Inn that is getting a bit old in the tooth. No frills, simply a place to rest your head at night and that's about all I need. However, it does need some updating. The mattress in my room is pretty beat up. Very springy and uncomfortable. Lack of power outlets at the night stand is always a gripe of mine. Come on managers. This is a gadget run world now. And well we need connectivity. Sure it's a sime fix, unplug the alarm clock and lamp and move on but it would be nice if
You just put more outlets where they are used.

Another gripe I always have is upgrading the tv before the bed. Please, first and foremost comfort should be number one so putting an LCD tv in a room that needs some updating is just not a priority. I would have liked to see some new mattresses before a flat panel tv. Just my opinion because a good nights rest is more important to me.

Other than that I really have no complaints, it just needs some updating/upgrading. I can't comment on much else as I basically only sleep here as I am working from 4:00 am til 7:00 pm.

“Girls Vacations”

We only stayed one night while traveling down to South Carolina. Hotel was hard to find at night as it was up on a hill off the highway and their Comfort Inn sign was turn off. We checked in late at night and told person of the problems we had finding the hotel. Was advised that the sign was on a timer. Got to our room and deadbolt on our door would not lock. Called front desk and advised her of the problem. She arrange to move us to another room on the same floor. Hotel is near a Correction Centre as we drove into parking lot by mistake, it was pretty scary. The good thing about this hotel is that it had the best breakfast. Served hot foods bacon, sausages, eggs, waffles, fresh fruit bowl and other breakfast items.

“A good stopover.”

We stayed here at the beginning of our vacation in Pennsylvania for one night. The hotel is easy to find from the Interstate. There is a Bob Evans restaurant next door, but the clerk recommended Hot Rod's House of Bar-B-Que in town and that turned out to be great.

The room was basic but comfortable. We had two double beds, a small refrigerator and microwave. The free wi-fi worked fine in the room. The pillows were quite lumpy and we were glad we had brought our own. Also the air conditioner was a little loud and its fan rattled a bit from time to time, but it worked well to keep the room temperature controlled. The bathroom was clean, although the floor was very slippery from humidity (it rained hard in the afternoon). Toiletries were pleasant and the towels were good. The shower head was a little low for tall people, but the shower curtain was hung from one of those curved rods, so there was adequate space in the shower.

In our room, the door stop was damaged and there were a few obvious filled holes (such as might have been left by fixtures previously bolted to the wall), but these were only cosmetic blemishes.

We enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning. There was yogurt, various breads, hot eggs, bacon, and sausage, make-your-own-waffles, cold cereal, and hard-boiled eggs. Fresh fruit would have been nice, but there was apple and orange juice as well as hot coffee and tea.

Checking in and out was swift and accurate. The employees didn't smile or seem very talkative, but they were polite and not at all unfriendly.
