“will be back”

My husband and I have just returned from a weekend at The Inn To the Woods, It was one of the most pleasant experiences we have had at a bed and breakfast and we have been staying in bed and breakfasts for a while. We were greeted by Brady who met us with a friendly manner and handshake soon after, we met David who is just as gracious and friendly. We were directed to our room which was lovely. We stayed in the D.H. Lawrence room. As we entered the room(which is on the bottom floor and very private) we knew we were going to have a pleasant stay. The tub was large enough for 2 people and there were brownies on the bed. The creme brulee french toast the next morning was delicious. There is a patio with table and chairs, which we sat at each morning to watch the wild life go by. They were very helpful in directing us to different points of interest and never considered it a bother. We left Monday morning after a wonderful breakfast of Quiche feeling like we had just stayed with friends. I read other reviews on the Inn and disagree that either Brady or David are rude, on the contrary they were kind and generous. We will definitely go back but bring our friends next time.

“Extremely rude proprietor”

Do not waste your time with this place. Not only is the location underwhelming (it says it's in the woods, but it feels more like it's in a subdivision), but the owner was extremely rude to me when I stopped by to take a look at the place. Needless to say, I did not end up staying there. I was initially interested because it looks great on the website. Thankfully, I decided to drive by while I was in the area. When I told the owner I was interested in the place for a weekend mini-honeymoon after my wedding, rather than asking for any details or offering up helpful info, he snottily told me that I should have noticed on their website that you can only see the inn by appointment only. I am telling you - I have never been spoken to like that by any person I've been looking to do business with. I did not ask a second question and immediately left - for good!

“Rudest”

I am still reeling from the shock of how rude the staff is at this inn. I DID NOT stay here, but really wanted to! Unfortunately, I could only get so far as a phone call.

Let me explain- I was considering this inn for housing all of my guests for my wedding. (That would have been a several thousand dollar sale!) And when I called to make an appointment to see the Inn, they told me that they're not taking appointments yet for the season during which my wedding will occur. I asked if I could simply stop by and see the premises anyhow and he kept saying no. So finally, very confused, I asked "So I'm not allowed to see your Inn at all?" And the man said very angrily "NO! It wouldn't be worth your time!" I think that we simultaneaously hung up on each other then.

I am still in shock.
