“Probably the best local choice...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

I've stayed here a few times and recently spent a one-night stay in January. The clerk at the front desk was cheerful and had paper bags containing bottled water, potato chips and a granola bar waiting for Priority Club members.

My room just off the interior courtyard (called the Holidome) was spacious but very warm. Despite turning off the only apparent source of heat (the window AC unit) the room stayed uncomfortably warm for the entire night.

If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend a room on the outside perimeter of the hotel. Otherwise you will hear the sounds from the swimming pool and indoor play area until quite late.

Outside of the front lobby, the hallways and interiors appear in need of renovation or at least, a deep cleaning, fresh paint and new wallpaper.

Considering most of the hotels in Uniontown are in the moderate to low-budget category, this is probably the best local choice for a place to stay.

Room Tip: If you plan to go to sleep early, don't get a room that borders the atrium...it can be noisy.

“Great place to stay...just dont get an inside facing room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

Stayed here for weeks on end. Everything was great, especially the bar. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The food at the on site restaurant left something to be desired. The rooms facing the inside of the hotel are susceptible to noise from the indoor pool/hot tub area. not a huge deal overall for me (i requested outward facing room), but if there are a bunch of kids of a group of people, it can get pretty loud.

Room Tip: for the best nights sleep, ask for an outward facing room (not adjacent to the indoor pool area)

Anyone with a negative review is crazy-we stayed there last Friday night with my son and two of his friends for his 10th birthday-we had a room close to the pool(very clean, roomy, convenient with a mini fridge and microwave)The pool/courtyard area was outstanding-roomy-and the kids had the time of their life!! My husband went to the bar several times to get us drinks which was fantastic too!! We will definately stay again for a winter getaway!!

Room Tip: close to pool if you have kids

“Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011 via mobile

Stayed overnight here on way back to Pittsburgh and its ok, and just that.
Outside in the evening large trailer vehicles are parked which makes you wonder where you are, while the layout is quite odd.
There is a central pool area with rooms positioned off it on two floors. Don't bring large pieces of luggage as there are no lifts. The guidance to the room could also be better. Think of Hansell and Gretel and the bread crumbs..... It had crossed my mind.
However ok for a stay as rooms have microwaves, tv and fridges so it could become comfortable. So I would recommend if I could not stay in Morganstown.

“Wedding Reception”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

Thank you Lisa and your staff for a wonderful experience. Besides all of the work everyone did and the food was outstanding!! Our rooms were spacious and clean. Our extended family enjoyed many different parts of the hotel from the children to the adults. Sandy in the bar was great and I want to also tell you that I think her name was Jenn (dark hair/glasses - cute as a button!!) great and fun person to work with. We will stay with you again if we get an opportunity. Thanks for everything!

Room Tip: Because of the playground and pool - though excelent during the day - can be a little loud at night...
