This property is pretty much what you would expect it to be. I have stayed/continue to stay here when work takes me to State College. It is well located near the main arterial, within walking distance of the stadium if you are headed to a game, close to most points on campus as well as the technology incubator.
There is nothing fancy about it, but they provide the product you expect and do it well. I will say this...I have been staying there over the last 5 years and they have redone most of the property. They put effort into maintaining the "fresh" look of the place and it shows. Now and then over the past year, I have gotten a room where the carpet needed updated. When I informed the property manager of this during a follow-up discussion, I was informed they were aware and working through the replacement of all carpet.
Additionally, there is a Damon's right in the parking lot so you can grab a bite of dinner and a drink without even getting in the car. Not bad after a long day.
