I stay at this hotel every time I come to State College on business - which is 6-8 times per year. When I first stayed here in 2008, I remember it being brand new and sparkling clean. Two years later, when I returned again, and every time since then, I am still happy to see that it looks BRAND NEW. Everything is clean, smells good, the rooms and bathrooms are the perfect size, and the beds are comfortable! I have stayed at Fairfields elsewhere and can honestly say this one is the best. I often remark how Marriott should upgrade this hotel to the Courtyard brand, but am glad it is a Fairfield because their rates are always reasonable. In addition, the staff is always friendly and very helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel, and will always look forward to staying here!

Stayed at the Fairfield on a trip to take my niece and her friend on a campus tour of PSU. I had enough Marriott points to stay for free which is why I selected it, as I normally stay closer to campus. I've never stayed at a Fairfield before and I can't say enough good things about it. The staff was very nice, the rooms large and very clean. Free Wi-Fi, gym and pool. Otto's Brewery right in the same parking lot (very good) and the free breakfast was just fine for a quick bite. With the exception of the location, it's about a 5-8 min drive off campus, this place is a winner.

We stayed at this hotel after spending a blistering hot day at a PSU game. We're pretty particular about hotel cleanliness and this hotel did not disappoint. The room was bigger than expected as was the bathroom. The breakfast was nice too. The attendant was constantly cleaning and wiping up after messy patrons. We will definitly stay there again.
