The sterling Inn was so peaceful and relaxing. The property was kept very well and the staff was very nice. Home like setting. You get your own little cabin across from the main house. Very nice dinning area with very good food. Would love to go back again and again. A little pricey but you get what you pay for!

This was a terrible experience. There were surprise charges when we signed in. The grounds were not kept. The stay was for the hotel but we were upgraded to cottages. We had previously stayed here with my 3 children's families and had wonderful experiences. My son and daughter-in-law left at 11pm. They found garbage under the bed. Some bugs and blood. They asked for another cottage and found it similar. It is sad to see this place being run so poorly.

Four of us.. my husband and i and 2 children(10 & 7).. cute rustic cottage, jacuzzi, paddle boating and the best part.... Customer Service!!!! The nicest people own this mini resort.. working in nyc.. its these little things that made this birthday getaway awsome for us all!!!!

This inn is a sad shell of what it used to be. Breakfast consisted of stale bread and frozen Sara Lee muffins. Several things were broken like the hair dryer and jacuzzi. The restaurant was not "open" to serve me or our friends but could easily cook meals for other guests. The new management has no idea what customer service is and blantantly treats customers differently depending on what race they are. I have never before felt discrimination like this and I left the place feeling hurt and offended. On top of that, they charged us an 18% gratuity charge for horrible service and worst hotel experience I have ever received. Do not pay attention to the other good reviews. Save your money and go somewhere else!!
