Good thing we checked in after dark I was too tired to notice the moldy shower, cigarette burn blanket, muddy patrons, and general mess!
In the morning, after I freaked out we left

This is a fine place for a night - the reception staff in the evening when we checked in was polite but the morning lady was indifferent.
The room was clean but the blanket needed replacing as some disgruntled occupant had stuck his cigarette into it a few times.
Our stay here was ruined by an insomniac occupant above us who insisted on pacing the length of the room above us all night!!

No TV remote was in the room. Front Desk sent me back to look again before I got a remote. Water bucket had a greenish powdery film lining the inside...like the stuff you push flower stems into. Dog food on the floor behind the door. Front desk did give me a 10 dollar credit.

If you have to stay here, inspect the room first.

We took an unexpected trip to Somerset in late Aug 2011. I had to find a hotel near the PA turnpike. Well you couldn't get much closer to the exchange . it was right there as you got of the exit. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable but I did feel the hotel its self smelled of stall smoke. (not our room however). I cant say I would jump at the chance to stay again, I would probably pay the extra few dollars and upgrade a lil. But for people with pets, it was pet friendly.
