Consistently great service!

I've stayed at several other hotels in the Reading area, but the Courtyard Wyomissing has what I need: excellent customer service, starting with Jennifer, the manager; comfortable, clean and up-to-date rooms; Internet access; computers/printers in the lobby; and a quick breakfast.

The lobby, like a living room with a big fireplace, bar, and TV screens, is a great place to hang out in the evening. The patio outside, when the weather is cool, is complete with outdoor firepits.

The hotel is within a 5-10 minute of great restaurants all over town. And if you like to shop, the VF Outlet mall is directly across the street.

I spent just 1 night, 12 hours, at the Courtyard in Wyomissing. The location is great for shopping at the VF Outlets. They are just across the street, within walking distance. The hotel is nicely decorated and they have everything you need right there. The lobby has computers and printers available, plus room for you to use your laptop with their free wi-fi. There's a nice bar in the lobby, plus a place to grab something to eat. The front desk personnel were gracious. The rooms are large and well appointed, with nice decor and a comfy bed. The entire hotel is non-smoking, which is nice. There is a small fridge/coffee maker setup. The bath is beautiful, but there is only a large shower, no tub, which is a problem for me. The shower has a half fixed glass panel instead of a shower curtain, and I had a problem with water going all over the floor. The room and hotel were very clean. I would recomend this hotel for business or pleasure.

The hotel looks great from the outside, and even better once you enter the lobby. Lobby was simply beautiful, with a nice "island" bar in the middle. Also several computers for guests along w/ very good looking furniture.

Room itself was also very good. Comfortable bed, all amenities work fine. Not sure if rooms w/ these were all booked, but I could not book a room w/ a mini fridge and microwave. Those are always nice to have, but they aren't deal breakers. Very quite as well, and free parking is always a plus!

The only reason I don't give this hotel 5 stars is the restaurant/breakfast situation. I understand not all hotels have a free continental breakfast, but the breakfast prices at their restaurant were extremely expensive. $5 for oatmeal. Yeah, I'll pass on that. Overall though, an excellent hotel!

great place to stay in the reading area!, very clean and staff is wonderful. Just this morning there was a staff member cleaning the elevator enough you could eat off of it.
