This was my frist stay at the Villanova. Staff is accomodating and go out of their way. Location is away from the craziness and tucked in a woody area. Nice little porch facing the grounds is an excellent way to relax after a long day at work. Rooms are outdated and stuffy looking. Bathrooms were suprisingly renovated, clean and modern. I stayed in the room most closely to the reception area and would never do that again. It was very noisy, I could hear everyone that checked in/out. Area is safe. Rent a car, nothing is walking distance. Onsite lounge and restaurant and plenty of take out menus.

My husband and I attended a wedding at the mansion, on site at the Villanova Conference Center. We attended a cocktail hour, and dinner reception on site. The cocktail hour was well done. Drinks were easy to find/order, and several Hors d'oeuvre stations were set up throughout the mansion. The dinner was good, and servers were well trained and fast moving. The D.J. operating the wedding ran things extremely smoothly and kept the crowd energetic and ready for more celebrating.

Recently stayed here taking our daughter to college. Very nice and quiet. Nice balcony overlooking the gardens in back of property. Some updates to the room were a nice flat screen tv, updated bathroom, comfortable bed and puffy bedding. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area. Coffee maker in the room, no fridge. Continental breakfast offered every morning which included coffee, juices, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereal, etc. All in all a very nice stay.

Had to spend a week here for business training and was very impressed. Staff was so friendly and willing to help with anything I needed. Room was recently remodeled and nicely appointed. Nice flat screen TV that was easy to use and the free wi-fi was very reliable.CLEAN bathroom, heavenly bed, and having a balcony was a plus for me. Setting is very nice and serene. There are plenty of places inside and out to sit and relax or work. The food was fabulous and the dining staff was very accommodating to my special dietary needs. Great choice for business conferences/trainings. The only thing that could have been better was a hot tub. There is a fitness center but no hot tub.
