I am a bit surprised by the bad reviews. If you notice my reviews, I spend a lot of time in south east PA for business, and I have stayed in quite a few hotels in this area. Generally speaking, I have found Best Westerns to be less than average in quality. This hotel is one of the exceptions. I have stayed here twice so far, and I have been quite satisfied.
Like a lot of the Best Westerns in the area, it is a bit on the older side, but this place appears to be well kept. In both my stays I have stayed in room 106. Nothing fancy, appears to be fairly clean, and the room is above average in size.
Right next to a shopping center, with several restaurants nearby, with many in walking distance. Being on the road all the time, having a restaurant within walking distance is a big plus at the end of a long day. Route 309 is at the corner of the block, and if you take the turnpike, it is about 4 miles from the Quakertown exit. While there are a few motels right at the turnpike exit, if you are looking for a place to eat, you are probably going to drive to this neighborhood anyway, so you might as well stay here.
The breakfast area is fairly small, and a very typical toast, cereal and coffee. The staff seems very nice. As far as value, the price is below average for the area. I have stayed here twice so far, and will use it again when I need a hotel in the area.
