We decided at the last minute to get a hotel room and watch Hurricane Katrina roll in that Sunday night, and stopped here. The outside of the building is dated and could use an upgrade. The inside lobby / coffee shop area is much nicer. After speaking with the front desk agent, a very polite young woman, we decided to stay. The room was nice & clean. Plenty of towels and toiletry items. Large TV. Bathroom sink is outside of the shower/toilet area... easier for 2 people to get ready. Not luxurious, but overall good choice for a great price.
