This was our first and last visit to an Extended Suites hotel. When we arrived at check-in, the clerk said her system was down, and that she would need to photocopy our credit card. But she couldn't figure out how to use the photocopier (she kept hitting it), and left several photocopies of our card lying around on both of her counters during our 15 minute check-in. She wanted us to sign two of the photocopies for her "files" - very strange. Then she wanted $15 extra to give us a room with two DOUBLE beds. When we arrived in the room, the kitchen trash was full from the night before. We put the entire can in the hallway, where it stayed until two days later when we checked out.
I agree with an earlier poster about the lobby feeling "sterile". It was also very smoky. When we loaded our luggage on the elevator, it was even more smoky - we got off and loaded up the stairway instead. The second floor hallway was also smoky. And at 2:30am we woke up to more cigarette smoke coming into our vent from another room.
There is no shampoo, hair dryer or functioning alarm clock in the room. The walls are very thin. You can't get a wake-up call, because the one employee who works in the hotel leaves at 11pm. The coffee maker in the room was gross, and the laminate was peeling off the kitchen counter. The towels are thin and about the size of our hand towels at home. The mattress was actually in fairly good shape for the rest of the hotel, but a bit firm for our taste.
I should also note that I only paid $35 for this room on Priceline, but Priceline has grossly mistaken this property to be a 2* quality - should be no more than 1*. About the only good thing going for this hotel is the Starbucks across the parking lot.
