Booked here as the website did not state anything about being 100% smoke free; and learned upon arrival these details. I learned that ALL hotels in the City of Pittsburgh are 100% smoke free, so if you are going into Pittsburgh for business or pleasure, make sure you book outside the City limits if you are a smoker. The staff at Sheraton Station Square was marvelous and handled everything so professionally, and the way Customer Service should be handled in this world. I would recommend going to Robinson Twp, Monroeville or outlying areas if you are a smoker. The Sheraton is an exquisite place, perfectly located along the river, visible to Point State Park with Station Square directly across the street - less than 1 minute walk which is full of wonderful boutiques, fabulous restaurants, access to the Incline which anyone who comes to Pittsburgh should definitely ride the Incline and read the history of why Inclines were used in Pittsburgh in the Steel Mill days. This Sheraton is the nicest location in the City of PIttsburgh, every detail is noticed and the place is maintained impeccably. As long as you are a nonsmoker, this is the place to stay - high end quality with the most breath-taking views and access to fabulous restaurants, unusual, eclectic boutiques that you will need another piece of luggage to bring home all the treasures. The rooms and beds are fabulous and I even had to ask who was the manufacturer of their mattresses when I stayed because after 4 back surgeries, any mattress that will allow me to sleep more than 2 hours at a time w/o pain is a blessed miracle. High end everything from the carpeting, to linens, towels, and with every step throughout the hotel. You could not possibly have a bad experience here, unless a fluke happened because it is run with procedures and policies and staff is impeccably dressed and groomed. This hotel reminds me of how things used to be, when my grandfather wore a 3pc suit everyday, with tie, pocket watch, etc and the ambience and atmosphere of the Sheraton at Station Square just exuberates or commands that level, that is to be commended nowadays where everyone and everything else is so lax and casual. Thank you Sheraton Station Square for all your help this past week with my stay. I commend ANY facility that is non-smoking that sticks to their rules; because as a smoker I never want to offend anyone who may get my room after me and be bothered with the odor and many hotels/motels will bend the rules just to fill the room and money is the #1 priority - not at the Sheraton. They believe in what they do 100% and do not break the rules. Kudos. I'll be back when I quit smoking because it was the best night sleep I have had in 10 years since the first back surgery when I stayed there.

Thank you for your positive feedback regarding the Sheraton Station Square Hotel. The staff members at the Station Square Location work very hard to provide quality customer service and when that is recognized, we are very excited. Thank You.
I took some time to review our website and I have found on the front page and also within the booking process where it tells us that we are 100% a non smoking hotel. If you find this to not be true, we would like to know.
Again, thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
Warm Regards,
Hotel Management
