I have stayed here on a couple of extended stays while in the Pittsburgh area, and I'm not sure if I just noticed more this time, or if really was that much worse, but this trip was disappointing. Though the staff was very acommodating due to a change in my travel plans, that is where the good stopped with this property. When I checked in, there was no shampoo, soap, anything in the bathroom. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and no dishwasher soap. Bedding smelled, furniture was dirty, carpets are dingy and appear dirty, and the kitchen is very dated, along with the equipment. The other good things - full size kitchen, where we could make our own dinner and enjoy a glass of wine next to the fire in the fireplace. Nice layout of room.

Stayed at this hotel for one night to attend Pitt football game and Steeler game. It was very rundown. The room seemed clean but it was hard to tell because of the age of the carpet and the furniture. The bed had a sag in the middle so we rolled to the center all night and didn't get a lot of sleep. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was ok. The nicest perk was a shuttle that drove us to the North shore to the Pitt game and then picked us up after the game to return to the hotel.

This is more a suite than a room. Contains full size fridge, stove, dishwasher and micro along with dishes. The suites are 2 to a building with an upper and lower level. Plenty of room with 3 closets and a sitting area. A small balcony is attached to the rooms which are clean although older and getting to the point of needing some updating. Wifi was good but the remote for our TV didn't work and because they didn't have a replacement discounted our room $25. There is a pool, exercise yard and out door gas grills along with picnic tables and gazebo. A hot breakfast is available each morning as are newspapers. Staff is friendly and downtown is about five miles. Plenty of dining a short drive away.

yep mold on bathroom ceiling, carpet pulled away from wall.......beautiful bedding out of place in this dark and dingy room. Front desk staff wonderful, gave 2nd room, no mold just dark and dingy. rusted paint cans under stair well at room entrance. Needs repair, repaint, new carpet and lighting...property not worthy of Quality Suites name. Did not stay, went to Raddison down the street. more $$...at least better light and clean...
