“Quality Inn save my Trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2011

On a recent rip we reserved a room by calling Expedia. Long story short Expedia reserved room for us in a similar sounding hotel chain 30 miles away. down the road from Hotel "X" was the Quality Inn. We walked in and luckily was able to get a room.

The room was clean and fresh smelling. There were no stains of the floor or furniture. The bed was comfortable, and the continental breakfast they served was adequate. In a neat kept breakfast area you could get a number of different danishes and donuts, cereals, bagels. For a hot meal you could make yourself a waffle and they had some breakfast sausages. we got to breakfast a little late, but the attendant was quick to replenish and food they started getting low.
I didn't use the provided outdoor pool or exercise room, so I have opinion of them.

There were restaurants nearby for lunches and/or dinners so to me it was the perfect place for a quick weekend stay.

“Horrible. There for a baseball tournament with my son's team.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2011

Friendly staff (mostly), pretty good restaurant, that is all the positive I can come up with. Located in a very sketchy part of town. Had to fight with staff every day to get the pool open DURING THE HOTTEST WEEK ON RECORD IN YEARS. The pool became quite an issue during our stay. The exterior conditions of the hotel were disgusting, filthy, stinky garbage areas at the end of each outdoor walkway. Deplorable laundry facility that supplied a continuous loud intermittent beeping noise 24/7. 3 ice machines which never had ice. Housekeepers too lazy to hang towels and left them in a pile ON THE TOILET LID. Did not clean washroom until my 5th day in the room (we were prisoners there for 6 days). Bathtub clogged during a.m. shower and the water was still in the bottom of the tub upon our return 8 hours later, obviously no cleaning going on in there. Tiles on stairways heaving and cracked, when it finally rained the water sat on the tiles for days afterward, you had to jump them as not to get your shoes soaked, no one ever mopped up the water and one young girl fell down the stairs as a result, hurting her tailbone and hip. Issues too numerous to continue, NEVER stay here, that is my advice!

“Nice People - Awful Hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 March 2011

The only thing good about this hotel is the price relative to other places nearby, and the nice staff. It is a noisy, dreary place.....especially noisy when they have a band at night. If they do - do NOT get a room anywhere near the pool unless you like sleeping while listening to (and feeling) the rumbling of rock music until late at night. So ultimately the price is bad if you had planned on staying there so you could get some sleep.

The staff is nice, but they have a bad product on their hands, and I'm sure they are used to having to mollify unhappy guests. The free breakfast is very basic. The free high speed internet is very spotty.

“Will not stay again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2011

We were further dissapointed with the cleanliness of the room. The carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed after the last occupants had left. The bathroom floor had several dried droplets of of what appeared to blood on the floor, and the shower drain was black with what appeared to be mold. Upon returning after a night in Pittsburg our room keys (card) would not unlock the door. The staff was kind enough to recode it to work. to say the least we will not stay at the Comfort Inn again. We were very disappointed becsuse our last stay back in 2004 was great.

“You get what you pay for....”

The hotel is ok, if you are looking for a cheap place to sleep. It seems to be a little older style hotel. A 5 star hotel it is not. We've stayed in better and we have stayed in worse.
