We stayed here in November 2011 and it was a Raddison hotel at that time and just getting ready to switch over to double tree. The complex is absolutely huge with corridors so long we felt we were in the hotel scene from "The Shining' - I think there were 100 rooms on the one floor! The hotel looked very old and although the room had been slightly updated, it still felt like an old hotel. We ate downstairs in their restaurant and the food was excellent.

This has always been our favorite hotel. We are not frequent travelers and like many try to make oir dollar stretch. The service has been tops from people in direct contact with the guest to the hard workers not usually visible to the guest. It may be work for them bit they recognize it is vacation for me and they always have a friendly smile. It does not go unnoticed.
We hope to stay with them again as we fly in and out of Pittsburgh. Because of logistics, we may or may not be able to make this work but Gary Lee has been extremely responsive. We have a choice when staying at hotels. Personally I prefer staying at a hotel where I.am wanted. We are just regular people. We are not frequent guests but are always treated first class.

the staff is always so friendly and the rooms are very clean. The beds were comfortable as well- which is very important to us.
We love the pool and the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was wonderful.
We will come again!

I recently visited the DoubleTree hotel in Greentree (Pittsburgh), PA and was very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. I had not visited this hotel in several years. I very much liked the very helpful and professional customer service representatives as well as the obvious improvements that the newer management has made with the facilities of the hotel.
