I will start off by saying that this hotel was clean and the rooms were very spacious.
I booked this hotel because of it's location to the Consol Center (being able to walk two minutes to the hockey game is a plus) but fell in love with their service. We arrived on Friday and when we were checking we asked if there was a steak house that they would recommend for our anniversary dinner that we were also celebrating the same weekend. They suggested Hyde Park and offered to make reservations for us as well also mentioned that they had a shuttle that could take us there and pick us up.
When we got into the shuttle the drive wished us a Happy Anniversary and when we arrived at the restaurant we were also greeted with anniversary wishes.
After the game the following night we asked the front desk if they could call us a cab to take us to the southside for dinner (I didn't think the shuttle went that far) but I was wrong the shuttle was there and ready to go...during our drive over we were shown the sights and some history behind them (which was great).
At checkout the following morning our shuttle driver was back in and he address me by name and wished us a safe drive home.
The little things we experienced over the weekend, the shuttle drivers remembering our names, wishing us happy anniversary, the cleaning staff was friendly and accomodating...for us this went a long way. We have stayed at more expensive hotels and never received the same customer service.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asks and I will definitely stay here again.
