I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cambria Suites after a Penguins game I attended. The location and convenience to Consol was the main reason for booking this hotel... along with the excellent rate for the 2 King Suite.

The size of the room was excellent for the 6 of us that stayed the night. Even with that many people in the room we never really felt crowded. Also, the shower was amazing. I love high water pressure and this had that and then some... One person in our group made the comment "it felt like Niagara Falls in there".

The only small complaint I have is that we waited around forever for the shuttle and when it did come back I was informed he was "full" and would be back later.... If I would have known he was going to already be full I would have just called a cab right away. Seemed like there was a little bit of lapse in communication between the driver and the Front Desk. However, while we were waiting fo the cab to come we met James Neal in the lobby and got a picture so I can't compalin too much.

We traveled to Pittsburgh for a wedding, and stayed in the Cambria Suites because my husband works for Choice Hotels. We've stayed in quite a few different lines in the Choice Hotels family, and this hotel was superb! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was awesome. If you were going for a hockey game, you couldn't stay any closer unless you camped out on the ice! That being said, there was a hockey game happening during one night of our stay, but it didn't disturb us at all. We had it on the tv in our room and despite how loud it sounded on there, if we hit mute we couldn't hear a thing.

We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit Pittsburgh.

We recently stayed here with our kids when we traveled to Pittsburgh over Christmas vacation. We were in town for a Penguins game, and the location is obviously the best! Also, super impressed that there is a shuttle to take you where you want to go, provided it's withing 3 miles of the property. Driving in Pittsburgh for rookies would be tough, so the shuttle was awesome, as were the drivers. Nice lobby/lounge area to hang out after the game too. Staff was great, with the exception of one gal in the bar, but the others were so nice they made up for her. Great place to stay; we'd come back.

This was a great facility connected to the Arena.
Staff was great from the front desk to the shuttle drivers and in house bartenders.
We will definitely return!
