Just about everything was great about this hotel...there are places to eat and shop nearby, the decor is quite nice, the breakfast delicious...but the two most important things a good bed with a quite atmosphere were missing. My bed was quite firm, I felt like Goldilocks and kept repeating "this bed is too hard!"...then as I finally fell asleep, I was awoken to the sound of a freight train just outside my window! This happened a few times during the night. Goldilocks now has a new saying "This place is too noisy". If you like a firm bed and don't mind the occasional woo hoo train sound...then you are all set.

SpringHill Suites, especially the updated ones never disappoint! This one is located in the trendy Southside Works area, so you have a Carson street and some nice shops and eating right there near the hotel Staff was nice and the accommodations are the typical swanky teal-ish themed decor you come to expect:)

Beautiful hotel. Prime Pgh. location. Very friendly staff and a free shuttle to area attractions. Large rooms. Just checked in tonight but I bet the free breakfast will be fine. The pool and exercise areas are clean and inviting looking. I will be using the pool tomorrow. My young adult kids love the location and cannot wait to walk around/shuttle after the Steeler WIN tomorrow.

The place is very nice clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a nice size. I didn't have the train noise problems that others wrote about, but the noise from the hallway does come through. The free breakfast is okay, nice selection. The exercise room consists of treadmill, bike, elliptical, and a set of dumb bells. The pool and jacuzzi are nice and clean. Great location for shopping and eating
