Breakfast was cold food on a buffet. Coffee difficult to find. Very unappetizing breakfast. I travel to B&B's just to stay at them, and I expect a good meal in the morning. Extraordinarily disappointing.

Rooms were fantastic. Lots of character. Very clean. We had our choice of all of them and took the smallest because the decor was so fantastic.

Also very representative of the old days in Pittsburgh and worth a tour whether you stay or not.

This is a lovely Inn with beautfiul rooms. The innkeepers know the area well and are helpful with suggestions.

The drawbacks are that we saw the owners only twice during our stay, there was no restaurant despite the advertising, and the rooms off the main upstairs foyer are quite noisy when other guests are talking or moving luggage since the floor is wood. The breakfast is adequate, but not anything exciting.

My Art Institute of Pittsburgh class reunion was looming and I was having problems finding a place as a Steeler's game and Parent's weekend for all surrounding colleges was that same weekend. Downtown rates even at Holiday Inns were absurd.I used to live on the North side until after graduating many years ago, so thought I'd try it again. The Aviary is close and relatives would be coming down from Meadville for a day visit.

Returning to PIttsburgh over 30 years later was a delight...Jeff and Karl were so very nice and assured me they would have a place, even with the game in town. When I arrived they gave me a better deal staying in the main Mr. Bogg's room. Clean, well decorated and cool view of the park and downtown. Continental breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Directions from both made it easier to navigate to my reunion and best restaurants and times for Andy Warhol Museum. I am thinking about moving back to Pittsburgh to be closer to family and friends after 25 years in California. I know I'll be calling for reservations again with two great hosts with beautiful accommodations.

You were most gracious, the four of us had a fabulous time. The house is simply beautiful as ever!!! Love the dining room table! Not sure what is going to happen to the Steelers this year but you keep that porch decorated, would not be the same without it.....We will be back!!! !
