I guess I never really stayed in a motel before so I didn't realize how ghetto they were until I stayed here. The lady at reception was super nice so the service was perfect; it was just the rooms and the other guests. There were 4 of us (all girls) that stayed in a room together. When we went to park there were a bunch of guys outside of their rooms just whistling and cat-calling us. We passed by more of them on our way to our room and they all came out of their rooms and just stared. Very creepy!! This continued every time we stepped out of our room! They just stood there and stared; like they've never seen women before.

The beds & pillows were hard but they seemed clean (I'm not even going to think about it), shower was meh (bring flip flops!) but at least there was hot water, towels were clean & soft although won't cover much, wi-fi is $2.99 and only one person can access it, tv had good channels, and lots of parking.

I probably will spend more money next time and stay somewhere else though.

Traveled to Pittsburgh for the marathon & needed a place to stay overnight. Located about 20 minutes from downtown. Marie at the front desk was a vivacious firecracker...in a good way! The room was adequate but with a slight musty smell. Showerhead is low so if you're tall it's easy to get clean from the neck down. Would try one of the other hotels nearby (Econolodge, Carefree Inn) when I come back.

Excellent value for money. Motel style so easy to go in and out with a large dog. My room was clean, newish, excellent bed, good shower. Lowest price around at $50 - we use to stay at comfort inn - pet friend for $100 + but they were full. Lots of traffic into Pitt so you have to plan non rush hours. Yes there is a mix of people here. Pet owners, retired travelors, budget middleclass travelors as well ad welfare looking families maybe on long stays.

Kids running around but polite. No fears. All safe.

The staff was very friendly.

However, after checking in we drove around the place and starting getting a bad feeling about the place. It did not appear very family friendly and there were many people just loitering about. We had to meet family for dinner and didn't even feel comfortable unloading our belongings and leaving them there, so we left them in the car and decided we would see how we felt later that evening, maybe after things had quieted down. Well, at night the place comes alive so to speak - there were many people with their hotel rooms open, televisions blaring and generally being loud. Not only did we not feel comfortable, we didn't think we would get any sleep since by that time it was almost 11 pm and people were still being this loud with no sign of stopping. We left and checked into the Econo Lodge down the street. As two younger females, we just DID NOT feel comfortable staying here.
