We booked this hotel for our getaway (thanks to grandma visiting and staying with kids). Let me tell you - this place was a complete rip off in regards to accommodations, room condition, and most importantly personnel misconduct. Issue 1: From musty/moldy smell of stale air throughout the hotel to tiny (very tiny) dark bathrooms - you literally had to back yourself into toilet to close the bathroom door! The ceiling above the bed had a huge crack from water leak that was poorly (very poorly) patched with some yellow caulking producing a huge ugly spot and the room itself stunk like mold! There where hair on the bath mat, dust on pillows, no lotions in rooms, and the built in airconditioning/heating unit was extremely loud! If you are tired and want to watch TV in bed you literally have to lay on your side to catch a glimpse of it (very poor arrangement throughout the room) I don't understand why would anyone consider this hotel suitable for 3 star - it is not! I seriously considered leaving due to possibly toxic moldy air in the rooms, and should have, since staff was clueless, rude an unhelpful also.
Would rather pay the same for Holiday Inn or Marriott - both hotel chains have proven to be the opposite of this nightmarish place.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place as my husband was in training for a new position. Super large rooms, even for a Hyatt. Breakfast was very good, even though it was well attended the room didnt feel crowded and it was always clean. It is right across the street from the mall and IKEA, so even without a car, I was able to walk to do things during the day. Wouldnt change a thing about my stay.

Clean, quiet and looks new! Property has food and drinks and a 24 hour gym! The shuttle vans are free and run till 11 pm. I will stay here again without question!

Made reservations at the Hyatt Place Airport instead of the Hyatt Regency Airport for a recent early morning flight. Why? I could eliminate the 3 am wake-up, drive to the airport in the dark, find a place to park in the long term parking lot at the airport, drag my luggage to the airport parking shelter, drag my luggage up the steps into the airport parking lot transportation bus, reverse process upon arrival at the terminal. You know the drill. Okay, worth the $200 to stay at the Hyatt Place Airport for my purposes. Or so I thought! Hotel difficult to find being located behind a Pep Boys Auto Repair, road leading to the hotel full of potholes, checked-in, hotel room furnished in the 70's.....never updated except for the TV. Carpeting was nasty. Was that a scent or an odor in the room? Musty, dark, disgusting. The air conditioning unit was loud and annoying. I hate this! Call to request a room change. Changed my room to another down the hall which was equally as bad. Did I mention the bedding and towels.....also bad, bad, bad! Couldn't sleep as I could hear every word from the adjacent rooms (let's not forget the air conditioner which cranked away all night). In a nutshell.....if you like clean and comfy, stay away.
