I booked a room for one night here with my husband. I thought it would be a fun getaway on a weekend where we had nothing to do. To make a long story short we checked in, but then when we got to our room I immediately decided I wanted to return home (only 1hr.20min away). The room smelled moldy, they doors had these weird locks that made them difficult to open, and all of these weird trap door things. To top it all off the room had only one window which was filled with an air conditioner. There was a creepy sitting room with no windows. The bed felt like cardboard. We went down to the pool and it wasn't even clean. To make a long story short I'd rather have slept in the car, so we ate the 155 dollars and went home....HOME SWEET HOME!

If you are in the market for a great weekend away, look no further than Pineapple Hill B&B in New Hope, PA. We reserved a room on the recommendation of the reviews on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed! The staff was friendly and informative, the accomodations were wonderful and the location is perfectly situated around everything you would want to see in the area. I'm a big history nerd, so it was great to be situated halfway between Washington's Crossing and New Hope. I was extremely impressed with the detail that the owners and staff of Pineapple Hill B&B put into everything, especially the delicious complimentary breakfast! We stayed in the Buckland Room. The room was very cute and the balcony was a great place to relax. We went to every place they recommended (winery, restaurants, sites) and were never disappointed. I will definitely be back and would encourage everyone here to go as well!!

This was a charming and sweet inn. The owners are very attentive to details, the coffee mugs have pineapple insignias and even the soap dish in our room was shaped as a pineapple!

Our room and bathroom were very pretty, clean and neat, as was the whole inn. Although the inn was obviously originally a home, the restoration is loving and fixtures are new. There is nothing at all rickety about it; it is extremely well maintained; very cozy and romantic.

The staff was considerate and attentive, offering us lemonade and pound cake on arrival, two sweet girls – I think Katie and Caitlin, they were very helpful to us.
Breakfast was delicious; coffee was great!

The grounds are spacious and very well maintained and again, lovely! Although I did not have time to swim, the pool was a good size and the water was already warm.

I went that evening to Bowman’s Tavern. David Barry plays piano there on Thursday nights; he plays the American Songbook, some Fats Waller and boogie woogie, all and all, a very appealing performer. The food at the Tavern is excellent, love the cheeseburgers.

A great getaway!

Unless your Grandma has a condo in Boca. No, it's not that kind. It reminds me of my Grandma's house...creaking stairs, the smell of an old wood, frilly floral curtains, quilts on the beds. It's not fancy, but it is homey and comfortable.
The inn is simple and charming. The innkeepers, Katherine and Cookie were friendly and made us feel welcome. We were initially greeted by Katie, who was so sweet and accomodating.
The pool is built into the center of what was once the barn. It is surrounded by the remnants of the barn's stone walls. Very beautiful.
We were in the "Isabelle" room, which is located on the front of the house facing the road. It was quiet at night, no road noises bothered us. The bathroom is large and modern. Even better: the water was hot! Not something that is always found in an old B & B but is very much appreciated.
Breakfast is provided, and although we were out late the night before so we slept past the 8:30 - 9:30 breakfast time, the house smelled great. Cookie gave us a great tip as to where to enjoy a wonderful Sunday brunch. We followed his advice and turned out to be happy we did!
I recommend the Pineapple Hill Inn if you enjoy a laid-back, comfortable atmosphere at reasonable rates.
