We returned to this Hampton Inn because we were so pleased with our stay there several years ago. It still is great. Helpful, friendly staff, even better breakfast then before. We also enjoyed Ruby Tuesdays next door. Will definitely stay here again when we return to this area.

Overall clean, quiet hotel with a decent free continental breakfast. However, the mattress was quite uncomfortable and caused me to have significant back and neck pain. We placed the "do not disturb" sign on our front door before going to sleep; however, despite this someone knocked on the door at 6:41 am and slipped the bill under our door; the knocking woke us up. Later we realized someone moved the "do not disturb" sign to a little holder on the adjacent wall. That seemed quite strange and we did not appreciate the unwanted knocking, which seemed quite unnecessary, and was certainly done by the staff when the slipped the bill under the door. Next time, we will be staying somewhere in York which is only about 20 minutes north.

We stayed over for one night on our way back from Myrtle Beach to Montreal. The hotel was clean but it needs a face lift. Definitely not as plush as other Hampton Inn's we've stayed at (we love the Hampton Inn). Check inn was a little slow. We got our key and went upstairs and it didn't work, so we had to go back downstairs to change it.
The pool area was nice, but there was way too much chlorine in the pool. It almost smelled like there was bleach in it.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would probably look for another Hampton inn in the area before staying there again.

We spent three nights at the Hampton Inn and liked it even more than expected. The room was extremely clean and updated. The pillow top mattress and the night light in the bathroom were extra-nice touches and helped to make our stay very comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout the property. The breakfast area is clean, spacious and well-maintained. There is always a hot selection in the morning, such as cheese omelet, or biscuits and eggs. In addition, there is a fresh fruit salad offering plus the more typical pastries, toast, and muffins. I really like the fact that coffee was available throughout the day. It was relaxing to have a cup between activities, while sitting in the lobby area, which is appointed with very comfortable sofas and chairs. There is free computer access. Our family group occupied a total of six rooms, and there was not a complaint to be heard from anyone. The proximity of two major chain restaurants made eating out convenient when we didn't have the energy to explore further, and also placed us near enough to the more local stores and restaurants that it was easy to locate whatever we needed. This would be a very dependable and pleasant place to stay for just about any traveler.
