I decided to "name my own price" on priceline and got this room for $50. I didnt know what hotel I would get since I named my own price, but for $50 I didnt expect more than what was offered and actually got a few extras! The beds were comfy as well as the pillows, the room was cool, and bed bug free! There were 2 lights in the bathroom, one wasnt working but I didnt feel like asking them to fix it. There were no towels upon arrival but they did give us some when we asked (hey, what more do you want for $50?). They even let us check out late (1pm as opposed to noon) since we had a late wedding to attend. The staff was friendly to me, but unhelpful to a friend who was staying at the same time (they wouldnt fix something for them). They had a decent breakfast that consisted of waffle batter, fruits, breads, juices, cereals, and donuts. It was VERY convenient to Rt 83 (within 1/4 mile!) Not bad for $50 a night!

I THOUGHT I read the reviews of THIS hotel BEFORE I booked it...evidently I was reading about another hotel in the area as I did indeed book it based on what I THOUGHT were decent reviews. Only needed a decent overnight on our way to the East Coast. Check in was quick with no problems. Upon entry into first room, given the recent widespread difficulties with bed bugs, we examined the undersides of the mattresses, etc. and sound nothing to alarm us until we went to look out the window and the draperies were covered with large bugs of some sort ~ off to the front desk where the young man on duty asked "are they bed bugs" to which my friend stated no but have you had an outbreak. He stated no that the hotel was fumigated on a
monthly basis. Well evidently the bugs we did see didn't understand they shouldn't be there. Also in this room the sheets were coming off the beds mostly because they were too small?? Don't know what size they could have been since we had a room with two double beds and they were "nearly" big enough. Anyway off to the second room where we once again turned the beds down, etc. looked around and everything looked satisfactory. It was very hot so we turned on the air and the noise was AWFUL! There was absolutely no way anyone could sleep with that racket. Off to the front desk for the 3rd time, I must admit the young man behind the desk remained calm during all three trips to the front desk even though at this point I was highly irritated. He stated that he HOPED, since they were booked solid, that this last room would be our last room. Yeah, me too! I can't imagine how they could have been booked solid but I didn't argue. I had made my reservation directly with the hotel and even though the price was LOW I expected it to be clean! Third room proved to be satisfactory. Did go to lobby for breakfast which did include batter and waffle makers. Noticed as someone came in one minute after the published breakfast hours that everything was already cleaned up and put away. The guest was offered a bagel and cream cheese but the toaster even had to be turned back on. All in all I guess it was an ok stay for the price after we finally got a half way decent room. Don't think I would stay again.

Check in was smooth; arrived late so that helped. Got to room and noticed a faint smell of urine. Window did not have a good seal; wouldn't close properly. There was mud on the bathroom floor and noticed an inch thick of dust on the t.v. Next morning, we wrote "clean me plz" in the dust on the t.v. Once we arrived back to the room; the tv was the same; the bathroom had new towels, but old ones were still left behind and the beds were not made completely. Looked like she/they just threw the bedspread back up. Talked to "Sanrat" at front desk and he couldn't help with anything since they were "booked" for the weekend. Oh, no Bibles in the room! Sunday breakfast was slim pickings since "Sanrat" had invited his entire family to eat. If you're on a budget...the price is right; otherwise spend the extra money and go for somthing nicer...like Motel 6. At least they'll keep the lights on for ya.

The location was good for us (attended a party a few miles away). Located right next to the PA Turnpike.
Negatives - spider found in our bed, leaking faucet (carpet wet underneath), room could be a little cleaner (hair in drawer, musty bedspreads), could easily hear running back and forth of the room above us.
Positives - ok value, good location near highways, a handful of restaurants nearby, free continental breakfast (although we didn't use it because the room was too crowded both times we attempted to go),
