I travel for business and have logged 50 plus nights on the road for over 10 years. THIS BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL I have ever seen. When Marriott opened this as a Fairfield years ago it was great. Now it is a filthy, run down garbage pit. The stairwells are littered with garbage, the ceiling over the only working ice machine was collapsing, we were required to bring our room towels to the crumbling pool and the rooms had issues with the AC, bugs, mold on the shower curtains and a cleaning staff that did a half assed job cleaning the room. The rate was cheap but what you save on the room you will surely spend disinfecting your clothes and trying to get rid of the heebie jeebies that this $&?@ hole will leave with you. RUN AWAY, there is a brand new Fairfield around the corner. This hotel has given up and after 10 years of staying here, so have I.

I would NOT recommend this hotel. We booked this hotel through choicehotels.com. The bathroom was very dirty. Hair on the toilet and bathroom floor. The carpet was very used and when I went to make coffee in the inroom coffee pot in the morning, I noticed that someone had used the lid as an ash tray. There was left over cigarette ashes on the lid of the coffee pot.(Whether it was a customer or staff member who knows, but the fact that it was left that way grossed me out. It was not extremely convenient to downtown Hershey either. I wish we had chosen a different hotel. The hotel's breakfast had hot waffles you could make, but the batter was runny and the coffee down in the cafe was really bad. I'm a morning coffee drinker, and am not very picky about coffee, but I couldn't drink it. The desk clerk both at night and in the morning were nice, but that's about the only positive thing here.

I found the room clean bed comfortable the wifi good and the breakfast decent. I would return if i am in the area . I also found most of the staff very accommodating.

We had cancelled our reservation with this hotel several days prior to our date of arrival, but the charge showed up on our credit card bill. The management at the local hotel in New Cumberland refuses to refund our money. We contacted the parent organization who told us this is not their problem.

We stay at hotels at least 50 nights/year. You can be sure we won't be patronizing any Choice Hotels in the future.
