“Best Airport Deal in PIttsburgh!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2006

Great Hotel, Great Price, If you want High Class then pay for it. If you want a nice place to stay, thats cheap, with free parking and shuttle service to Airport then you can't beat this deal. We chose to stay here since it would have actually costed us more to park for the week in extended parking than it would have to spend the night here and leave our car here all week with free shuttle service. Can't beat that!

“Pictures Far From Real!”

My family and I were leaving for a trip and had an early flight, so decided to stay overnight nearby. I booked a "park and go" pkg. and the pictures showed a typical middle of the road motel. We knew we would arrive late that evening, so we were only sleeping 5-6 hrs, but it included a place to leave our car and shuttle to and from the airport. Well, we pulled into a poorly lit parking lot and proceeded into a hot (and smelly) lobby. Our room had a noisy air conditioner and an outer wall that had a visible water stain on it. The sheets on the beds were clean, but overall the room gave you the willies. We got up earlier than we had planned, skipped the continental breakfast and headed to the airport (one bright spot was the shuttle driver, who was very friendly and helpful). Now comes the very bad part - We get a call while on vacation from a relative telling us that the motel had a fire two days after we were there (unfortunately someone did die). We get back from out trip and the motel made no alternative arrangements for people who still had cars parked at their site (thank goodness we still had a car). We called a nearby Holiday Inn and they provided us with a shuttle ride to our car (Thanks Holiday Inn!). Needless to say - we won't stay there again!!!

“Avoid at all costs!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2006

We stayed at this motel because it was near the airport , provided an airport shuttle service and at a good rate. The problem is the rooms! We stayed there twice within a two week span. My first experience was ok, nothing fancy by any means! We were on the second floor. The beds were good and overall the room seemed clean except for the carpeting. The carpet had a sticky feel to it no matter where you stepped. I read this complaint in another review and thought maybe it was just the room the person stayed in but it wasn't. My husband wasni't as botherer so we kept our next reservations. I asked for a room with newer carpeting. On our second visit we were on the first floor. Again yucky carpeting! I walked around with my shoes on and/or at least socks. There was also food left in the mini-fridge. The breakfast was a minimal. I would not stay there again due to the carpeting. The shuttle service as good.

  • Liked — Nothing.
  • Disliked — The carpet was terrible.

“Wouldn't stay again if you paid me”

Scary place. The lobby is in the back of the building, and wasn't air conditioned during our 2-night stay (it adjoins the room where you get your "Deluxe Breakfast"--more about that later). Staff was polite, but when I asked for a room change after my first dismal night there, was told a staff member it was impossible because the place was booked (hard to believe with all the empty parking spaces), but another staff member looked puzzled when I told him this later. Room was not terribly clean. Door chain dangled by one, nearly falling out screw. Door between ours and next room had what looked like a fist hole punched into it (only went through our side of it). Air conditioning button stuck in one position. Bathroom floor sticky, sink had wiped-on looking oily residue from whatever they cleaned it with, yet still had ring from last person's water glass. Towels dingy. "Deluxe Breakfast" consisted of 2 nearly empty cereal bins, a much-used looking tray half-filled with store-bought donuts (I saw the box in a trashcan behind the counter), a pot of bitter coffee and an elderly mini fridge at the end of the counter which held a half-gallon of milk and a carton of orange juice. I felt nervous leaving my car parked in the secluded lot. My advice is to avoid this place if you can.

“Run!!”

AVOID! Aparently the hotel came under new management, and was "remodeled", yeah right. The only thing that was remodeled was the lobby, the only problem is you do not sleep in the lobby. The rooms were disgusting and dark (two of the five lights didn't work in our room). I felt endangered in this hotel. I booked through expedia and I went to the front desk and asked the management if I could get a refund, the made up a lie about their policy and I finally got a refund when expedia called the hotel personally. We then went to the Hampton Inn, in Moon, PA (right down the road), where the stay was wonderful. The clerk working even guessed what hhotel we were coming from when we told him the situation. AVOID!
