We stayed here for about 8 days in Nov/Dec 2011 for an illness in the family. The staff was absolutely fantastic from the breakfast attendant, April, to all the desk attendants and the houskeeping staff. The facilities were clean and the breakfasts were great. We had families coming in and out for two weeks and the reservations were always right. Cannot say enough about this hotel.

Hotel is convenient, just off the turnpike exit. Very good value for the money - rooms have comfortable beds and kitchenettes. Buffet breakfast is included in price. Facility has indoor pool. Fitness room is small - two treadmills and a few free weights. Staff was friendly. My only complaint was that the room had a faint smokey smell even though it was a non smoking room.

For $113/night you get a good sized comfortable room. Amenities while not upscale are more than you usually get at this price point

The side street to the hotel had a small street sign and kinda came up quick and we weren't expecting it but it was easy to turn around and correct.

Breakfast was very good, as others mentioned. Beds were pretty amazing. We had 2 doubles so hubby and I had our own beds but we didn't mind!!! Some of our party (of 4 families) didn't like the that the TV was in the middle and you could swing it to the left to view from the living area and swing it right to view from bed. We didn't mind it though. Bathroom was okay, nothing fancy. Toilet plugged right before we left and wouldn't flush/kept running.

The elevator was in poor repair and made noises.

Easy access from I-376 and from PA Turnpike, just east of city of Pittsburgh. Maybe 15-20 minutes from U. of Pittsburgh area. Room was clean but had a definite odor of a recent smoker in it. Microwave and refrigerator were present as advertised. Nice little fitness center and a very good complimentary breakfast. There was some kind of allergen/irritant in the room (from the pull out bed/sofa), which kept me up - coughing & sneezing - a good portion of the night. The person in the main bed had no complaints in that regard.
