Although the hotel was a bit hard to find (located on a twisty road). The service was great, and the room was nice and clean. The free internet was very fast and the breakfast was extensive (although the powdered eggs were off one day).

My stay at this Holiday Inn Express was not one of leisure but one of sadness as my husband and my family from all over the United States came to the area to bury my mom. The staff could not have been more kind and pleasant. The rooms were lovely and breakfast was wonderful. Linda at the Front Desk always greeted us with a smile and offered a bottle of water each time we came through the front door. How nice. The staff offered us info. on restaurants, etc. Whatever we needed. Thank you for making an extremely emotional and difficult trip more comforting as we had no worries knowing we had a lovely place to come back to and a friendly and professional staff.

This is a very typical Holiday Inn Express......inconsistant front desk...young lady at the desk during the morning was efficent, but not pleasant or friendly at all...evening personel much friendlier but all did their jobs. Room was standard, but housekeeping was somewhat lax, from the toilet, the top of the sink was gross..not visible standing up....I agree with another poster about the odd smell that I think was a spray..maybe to cover smoking smells?..I do not want to pick on housekeeping too much because the lady we had was very nice. Breakfast bar was adequate and always well stocked...all in all though, it was an ok room and served it's purpose......

I scheduled an event at this hotel. From the moment I called, I was treated with respect and honor. I needed several meeting rooms and the asst. manager bent over backwards to assist me. Check in was a breeze. When I got there, my room and keys were ready. I had 2 of my children along and they were offered a snack. The room was nice, clean and smelled good. Breakfast the next morning was really good. I had requested some extra breakfasts be served for my meeting attendees. The hotel was great with this. My kids especially loved the chocolate milk and yogurt. The meeting rooms were nice. Internet worked perfectly. I had requested some info on lunch options when I called to set up the event. The staff had it ready for me when I checked in.
The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Everyone that I met was kind and courteous. To me that says it all. I appreciated the attention to detail and the extra touchs that were given to me and my group.
