IF you are Expecting a good nights sleep YOU CAN FORGET IT! We were there for 7 weeks with the company I worked for and after my FIRST NIGHT there was eaten up by WHAT WE FOUND OUT LATER WERE BED BUGS, After Being there 41/2 weeks my fincee came up and was being BITTEN AND RAN IN TO THE RESTROOM WHERE SHE REMOVED WHAT WAS CONFIRMED TO BE A BEDBUG FROM A PRIVATE AREA ,She IMMEDIATELY STARTED LOOKING IN THE BED AND FOUND MORE! She went to the HOUSE KEEPER ONCE AGAIN (WHO HER SELF WAS DOING WHAT SHE COULD TO TAKE CARE OF THE BUGS) ALREADY . She said she would spray the room AGAIN AND SAID SHE WAS REALLY TIRED OF THIS BEING A PROBLEM AT THE HOTEL.. Then after A long conversation with the SUPERVISORS AND THE OWNER OF THE HOTEL we FINALLY were moved to what was SUPPOST to be a bug free room ! LOL, NOT THE CASE !! After finding more the pest control was called and CONFIRMED THE BED BUGS. We asked the SUPERVISOR we worked for and the OWNER of the hotel to be moved to a different hotel after already treating all of our belongings and DISPOSING SOME OF OUR THINGS for the 2nd time. By this time some of the other guys who worked with me were being eaten up to. Needless to say we were denied and was told by our job super visor to get flea collars and wear them to bed . Pest control recommended sleeping bags until he could spray . (we had been sleeping on the beds that were sprayed at least 5 times already). After all this me and another employee was FIRED due to the COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE BED BUGS, and after the super visor we worked under threatened bodily harm to me for being upset due to7 WKS of degrading, inhumane, torture!!! and all this took place with the owner of the co we worked for knowing of these problem. We are now fighting to keep them out of our NEW texas home , and are still having major problems from all the bites!!!!! This is all truely sad , Hoping to make sure NO one ever has to deal with this sad situation! we will be looking for your coments and any sugestions on this site. Stayed two nights with my 11yo daughter,,on the top floor,, first there are no elevators in the hotel, second the windows
Do Not open,,this to me is at the very least uncomfortable for June and at the most a fire hazard. The room was clean and the staff very friendly.

My wife and I stayed there because all of the hotels in Wellsboro were booked for the Dickens Weekend in early December. It was cheap in comparison to the ones in Wellsboro. The motel is clean and centrally located in the center of town. It is only 12 miles from Wellsboro. A good restaurant is right across the street. The breakfast is of packaged items like muffins and danishes with coffee, tea or juice. If you want a larger breakfast, there are certainly restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and parking readily available. I would recommend staying there.

You aren't going to find a better value and location for the price you get here.

I'm a graduate of Mansfield University and we always stay at the Mansfield Inn when we return for a visit.

Rooms usually run $50-$60/night depending on the time of year. The location is RIGHT on main street. And the rooms are pretty decent. Let's face it. You aren't going to get Sofitel or Fairmont quality in Mansfield, PA.

From the hotel you can walk nearly everywhere in town (except to the Wal-Mart unless it's a really nice day). If you stay at the Comfort Inn (which will run usually around $100/night), you'll have to drive into town. Nothing beats a dinner at Mark's Brothers then walking back to your bed across the street.

Some of the rooms can be a little dingy, but I chalk that up to being in the middle of PA. I've stayed in other hotels on route 15 and Mansfield Inn is above average. And it is safe.

The continental breakfast is a joke. It's basically pastry packages that you'd see at a gas station. But don't pick your hotel based on the continental breakfast anyway. Plus, Grandma's Kitchen is down the road and you don't want to miss breakfast there.

Anyway, I've stayed here probably 10 times and I plan to stay here more in the future unless it changes for the worse drastically.
