“great relaxing vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 April 2009

We booked Country Comforts B&B for 2 nights for my husband myself and my 2 boys, my only regret is that I wish we had booked for longer. The kids loved this place, and din't want to leave to go anywhere, they loved the animals, and loved helping Elaine feed the animals and gather eggsfrom the hen house. Speaking of the Hen House that is the name of the room that we stayed in, and it was great, a nice comfy double bed(maybe it was a queen, not sure we have a king ar home) a set of bunk beds, and a single pull out bed mini fridge microwave, its own private bath, with wonderful thick towels, and soo roomy(much bigger than most motels rooms). there is a private entrance onto a porch with 2 rockers and a porch swing where you can sit and just enjoy the scenery, or jsut watch the kids play with the animals . Breakfast was great and you certainly didn't leave hungry, Elaine is a great cook and so easy to visit with, every morning before breakfast everyone holds hands as John reads a scripture and gives blessings for the day, This is a wonderful Mennonite run family B&b, and since this was our first experience with a b&b, it was a great wxperience for the whole family, we will definately stay here, and as a matter of fact can't wait to get back there. What a wonderful time!!!!By the way all the rooms at the farm are great. but the other rooms share 2 very cozy roomy baths.

“You'll feel at home without the responsibilities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2009

John and Elaine are wonderful hosts with hearts and arms open. I have been there twice, once with my sister and once with my husband. Some friends recommended this bed and breakfast and we fell in love with it. It's not fancy, but very comfortable and relaxing. It is also very affordable and the huge breakfasts are incredible. Warning - you will want to go back again and again. You'll feel at home.

“Cozy Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2008

Elaine & John are wonderful hosts. I stayed for only one night on a business trip to Landisville, PA. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. The rooms were cozy, the breakfast was great, and the country farm atmosphere was a nice getaway from city life.

“Great Family B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2007

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jonde Lane Farm. Elaine and John are courteous hosts. We stayed in the hen house room, which was ample for two adults and two kids. The facilities, including the bathroom, were well-maintained.

Breakfast was excellent - wholesome and healthy. Elaine provided us information on a few local restaurants for dinner, which had great country-style food.

Our children loved being with the animals- watching them and feeding them hay. They even explored the real hen house. There are a good number of cats, goats, cows, and one pony.

The farm is conveniently located for a trip to Hershey Park and local Amish County sites.Coming from D.C. area in the summer, the nicest change was a lower humidity and a lack of mosquitos.

Only one slight differences noted from information given on the website. There is an additional charge per person for more than two people in a room. This difference is truly small when I consider the down-to-earth home feeling of this farm and its owners.
