Priceline got me a room here for $80 a night. $40 is probably what it's worth.
The only thing extended here was my head out the window for some fresh air. I was here for 4 long days. I couldn't wait to leave my last night, so much so that I left for the airport at 2 am because I'd rather sleep in the airport lobby.
I took a gamble on Priceline and lost. This is not actually what you consider a hotel. It's a long term living facility for weirdos. The carpets are stained and dirty. I saw the same pepsi bottle sitting by the elevator the whole time I was there. There are no real cleaning staff tidying up the place. It just gets dirtier and dirtier.
I checked out the sheets before I did anything in my room and at first noticed a stain, then a hair, then a bunch of hair. I didn't know if they were pubic or just leg hairs, but hair nonetheless. The guy at the front counter gave me fresh sheets and pillow cases without a problem. I went to use the toilet, and another hair on the seat. Ok. Wipe it off and go one. Taking a shower that night, a few more hairs in the shower. Really? Is someone playing a joke on me? I couldn't TRY to make my room this bad. I was afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet. NO WAY was I going to use the kitchen in this place.
The whole $5 a day for room service is what kills this place I think. Cleaning staff do a lousy job when they, I mean, IF they clean rooms. It smells like grease in the hallways due to people using the kitchens and the smoke not getting ventilated.
If I could do this trip all over again, I would pay extra and go to the Courtyard Marriot next door.
