It was a rainy afternoon when we arrived but as soon as we walked in the door it was warm and comfortable. Our hosts John and Heidi were welcoming and eager to give recommendations when asked. Our rooms, as well as the bathrooms were comfortable and very clean. What was really nice was the upstairs sitting room. When we were tired of touring in the rain we headed upstairs to spend an hour sitting and talking and munching on muffins and cookies. Since there were three of us this worked out well and was cozier and more personal than the living room. Breakfast was very good. The muffins were excellent.
