Ugh!!! Horrible manure smells permeate the B&B. You cannot escape. You also cannot escape the BUGS everywhere (140 in my room alone). The rooms are shabby and filthy: when we turned on the overhead fan, dirt and dead bugs flew off. The pool was closed but the area was unkempt. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

We stayed Here for a family baby shower as part of a group of 10. The house and grounds are visually appealing but overwhelmed by a pig/cow odor. I know it is an agricultural area but this was staggering. Plus, our room (3a) was crawling with stink bugs. We informed the owner and she went in to eradicate them, telling us that there were about 140 and that it must be the weather. Perhaps it was but I woke up with bugs on the sheets and blankets and that's not nice no matter what the weather. I'm a seasoned traveller and good with technology but couldn't figure out the thermostat so it was quite chilly. The breakfast was good but for $210, there needs to be more. A lot more.

I recently traveled to this inn based on the location and posted reviews. One of the reasons I enjoy staying at B & B's is the hospitality. Upon arrival, we were asked for payment before we even saw our rooms. No welcoming drink or cookies here! The innkeeper does not stay on sight. While there are locks on individual rooms, the front door is left open at all times, even at night. The pool had a jacuzzi that was empty and dirty, the pool area is nothing like the inn's website. The self propelled vacuum was left in the bottom of the pool our entire stay. By day 3 we asked to have the vacuum removed and the pool skimmed, we were told it was going to rain so they didn't think it was necessary! Ice left for the guests was one giant block, one sample size soap in the bathrooms, shower stalls very small, bed squeaked, nothing special about the breakfasts.

Cornerstone Inn proved to be the most charming Bed & Breakfast that I have visited to date. This beautiful historic home provided the absolute perfect location for my sightseeing and visiting adventures. I was quite taken by the scenery at and around the Inn. The Innkeeper, Laura, had a very easy way of making us all feel like longtime friends and prepared the BEST morning meals ever! The jacuzzi rooms are a fabulous deal, and the perfect end to busy days. This place is a "must-stay"!
