I am starting a new job nearby and my wife and i needed a short term place to live before we found a long term rental apartment. We spoke with Maryann and we agreed to stay the six weeks we required. She did not have the credit car machine with her so said she would call us the next day to take a deposit. She never called.
When we called back the following day she had let the apartment to someone else. She had another smaller one with a broken dishwasher and full bed and we could have that instead so we begrudgingly agreed. However upon further talking she would not take a deposit from us to hold the place and said it would be 'unlikely' if someone else booked the place before we arrived the following week. She would not let us confirm the booking until we arrived there, so again we were at the mercy of someone else booking it.
Throughout the whole process Maryann was very agitated and rude. She declined to help us in any way because in her words: 'you are only staying a month, it's not worth my time'.
We didn't even see the place but it looked OK from the pictures. We are not willing to deal with such a person/service and will find elsewhere. If this is how the people at Cornerstone act when trying to win your business, I dread to think how they act when you are there.
