I don't know where to start. I absolutely loved this place. Lark and Michael are such a wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. This was our first time to Lancaster and it will not be the last because of them. The breakfast was made to order and delicious. I work a hectic schedule and this was a small piece of heaven for me to be able to just relax here. They gave us maps of the area and told us some of their favorite places to visit. I miss this place already. Me and my fiance have decided to make this a yearly trip.

My husband and I stayed at this B&B during a recent weekend trip to Lancaster. We had such a great experience and our stay at Lovelace made our trip even better! We were so pleased with our first impressions after I had to call and let the innkeepers (Lark & Michael) know that we were getting later than expected. I've had bad experiences with that situation before at other B&B's but they were soooo accommodating and friendly - it was absolutely no problem at all for us to get in later. When we arrived, we were seriously impressed with the size, decor and cleanliness of the B&B. Our room (we stayed in the suite) was huge with a separate sitting room/area. The bed was "oh my goodness" comfy with the softest sheets I have ever touched. The bathroom was beautiful with a clawfoot tub. Our room just couldn't have been better. To top it all off, breakfast (served typically at 9am) was filling and delicious! The other guests staying at the B&B were so friendly that we even exchanged email addresses with a few. Make sure to ask Lark or Michael about Mary's Meals - that was a highlight of our trip where you can eat dinner at an Amish families house and learn more about the culture etc. Overall, I can't say enough good things about Lovelace and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy, cozy, centrally located B&B in Lancaster.

Lovelace B&B is a delightful, lovely, romantic place surrounded by the classic Victorian splendor that made us feel back in time. Rooms are gorgeous and impeccable. Breakfast was always served in the most exquisite china and we had something splendid and different every morning. Every detail we looked at was part of the pleasure of being there. We stayed for 4 nights enjoying this wonder, feeling ourselves at home, thanks to Lark and Michael, the owners, who provided for us everything we needed and more. They are the most wonderful, helpful and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met and they made of our days in Lancaster one of our greatest and unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed here during our anniversary trip to Pennsylvania. I chose this B&B after speaking with Lark, the B&B innkeeper, and thought she was just wonderful. This B&B was the best part about our trip. The location is wonderful, the owners are so sweet, the B&B is so beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious! We stayed in the Rose Suite and were not disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed the deep bath tub that is in the room! The king-size bed was exquisite...I wanted to take it home with me. We also got to take advantage of the basement/game room with pool table and darts. This is by far our favorite B&B we have stayed at. We will definitely choose to stay here again if we ever return to Lancaster.
