We Spent One Night In This Hotel. The Serice was disapointing, the pool was COLD and The Jacuzzi jets were fountians in the side walls. The guest across the hall had recently visited the bar and was abit loud at 12:30 AM. We wike to a contractor truck parked directly under our window at 7:00 AM slamming doors, raising ladders, drilling, hammering and such. The phn in our room didn't work, which required several trips to the front desk. The phn issues was never resolved. The most disturbing part of our unfortunate experience was all the hidden surveilence camera's leaving us to wonder how "private" our room even was. Whenever we visit Lancaster, we stay at Bird in Hand or Hershey Farms. Our Daughter was facinated by Steamboat so we gave it a try. Couldn't be more dissatisfied. We Would never stay ther again at any price although a discount was never offered, inspite of all the inconvienence.
Room Tip: choose another hotel there are many.

Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent stay aboard the Fulton Steamboat Inn. We aim to provide all of our guests with a memorable experience, and exceptional guest service, and I apologize that we uncharacteristically fell short on this occasion.
The safety and privacy of our guests is of utmost importance at the Fulton Steamboat Inn. Although we do utilize security cameras in public spaces for the safety of our guests, I can assure you, all of our guest rooms are, without question, reserved for the privacy of our guests. I appreciate your view regarding the temperature of the pool, and would like to reassure our guests that we maintain the pool water temperature between 82° and 85°, and the indoor air temperature between 84° and 88°. The contractors who are currently working to enhance the exterior of the Steamboat have agreed to begin at 9am. I have reviewed this agreement with our contractor, and certainly apologize for the inconvenience. All exterior renovations are scheduled to be complete by February 17, 2012.
In the future, please do not hesitate to contact a Manager on Duty if you have any questions or comments during your time with us. A Manager is available 24 hours a day, and may be reached by dialing -0- from your in-room telephone.
