I stayed at this hotel on 07/09/2006 after seeing a sign off of SR422 a few miles out of town to the east. I had a room that was along the front of the building and looked to be reminiscent of what was likely an old motel that existed prior to the Quality Inn acquiring the site. The room, aside from being very dated, was functional and clean. The air conditioner performed a marginal job of dehumidifying the room despite its constant operation throughout the night. Unfortunately, isolation from the traffic along Butler road in front of the hotel wasn’t that great. The rumblings of cars, trucks, and Harley Davidson’s was loud and clear until it finally subsided around 11:00pm. The front lobby has a decent spread for the continental breakfast including cereal, bagels, toast, juice, fruit, and even DIY waffles. Overall it was way overpriced for me at $85 (I was in a pinch and didn’t want to search around for another place to stay), but a room at $50-$65 would justify the hotel’s shortcomings. NB – I discovered that there's a Comfort Inn off of SR422 (bypass around town) that looked much more appealing. It was close to a variety of fast food and casual dining restaurants. Worth consideration before heading to the ‘Quality’.
