I stayed at this hotel during a week-long training session for work. I picked it primarily because I don't like the Radisson connected with the convention center. Overall this Courtyard is relatively similar to others. Highlights were the clean and larger than usual room, and the friendly service from the front desk and breakfast servers. Also, the hotel is less than 5 minutes from both the Valley Forge Convention Center and the King of Prussia mall. On the negative side, the hotel is close to the highway and my room had a low level of noise throughout the night (it wasn't awful, just present). My room was on the outside facing the highway so perhaps an inside room or one on the south side (towards Swedesford Rd.) would be better. The main thing that was difficult with the hotel was that it does not have wireless internet service and the cord set up was not the easiest to figure out. The internet service was free however.

This hotel is just barely ok. The room that we were in smelled of urine, the bathroom floor was dirty, the curtains were stained. This was the only room that was a suite with a king bed that was ready, (after waiting at least an hour for the room to be "cleaned" ), so we decided to deal with the smell.
This hotel is not child friendly. We drove to this hotel and after a 3 hour drive the room was not ready, we needed to change my infant daughter and realized that there was no changing table in the bathroom. We then went back to the front desk and the woman at the desk told us, sorry this hotel was made mainly for business travelers...she then suggested that I change my child on the bathroom floor...Never...For the price that we paid for this room, they could have included breakfast....this hotel was not worth what we paid, and it was out of the way from where we wanted to go. Next time we will try the Radisson.

I had a wonderful four night stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Valley Forge. Having stayed at both this hotel and the Crowne Plaza, (which is quite a bit more expensive) I would recommend staying at the Courtyard in the future. Both properties are now all smoke-free, a definite plus, and are very close to the King of Prussia Mall if you so desire. The Courtyard is much quieter however, and has a better breakfast buffet. The beds are very comfortable and the front desk was most accommodating. Everything was quite clean and tidy. I would say 3+ to 4 stars. Very nice indeed.
I will surely stay here again.

This hotel was great! Very clean with very comfortable beds and also had free internet access. The shower was clean and had good water pressure. The staff was very helpful and handed out directions on an index card (which is very nice!!). This hotel is perfect for a stay in the Valley Forge/King of Prussia area.

We really enjoyed our stay over MLK w/e. The staff was pleasant. The room was quiet, nicely decorated and very spacious, and since we have 3 young children, some hotel rooms can be quite cramped. We also had a nice view overlooking the Courtyard and the kids loved the indoor pool which is a huge plus on a cold w/e. The location is very convenient to the KOP Mall as well as an easy commute into Philly.
