“Cheap and clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 May 2012 NEW

Advantages: The room, the bathroom, the towels and linen were clean. The hotel and the premises were clean. Apart from ugly big old stains the carpets were also clean. The staff was helpful. Complimentary morning coffee and WiFi for 2,99/day were offered. There are four sets of washers/ dryers. As a smoker, I stood outside a lot, also at night, and I could not detect any suspicious persons or activities. The regular guests are workers and other decent people. The price is unbeatable (if more than one person) and the place is acceptable if you can live with the disadvantages.
It is an old motel, clean but outworn. The room smelled old fast food, the bathroom in the morning cigarettes. The second floor seems to be reserved for dog-owners and permanent guests. The GPS does not know the entrance so that your first arrival may be difficult.

“Very Dissapointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 May 2012

I normally stay in Motel 6 or other 'cheap' hotels because I like to travel and have a limited budget. I'm used to less than perfect hotel rooms, but this hotel was one of the worst I've ever stayed in.

1. It's very confusing to get into the parking lot from the main road.
2. The room smelled terrible. I can usually deal with a little musty or stale smell, but this was overpowering. And the windows don't open so you can't even air it out.
3. My bathroom door would not latch and therefore you couldn't close it. This really wouldn't have bothered me except that my husband and I were staying there with our 11 month old who walks. There is no lid on the toilets there and I couldn't get her to stay out of the bathroom. I asked the desk to change our room and they were very rude and said this was no possible. The hotel was not full so there was no reason they couldn't. I ended up stacking our suitcases in front of the bathroom door to keep her out of there.
4. I booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. The room was only stocked with 1 towel and one bed pillow on our queen bed. We had to go down and ask for more and then, when housekeeping came and cleaned up the room after our 1st night, they only replaced ONE towel, AND took the other pillow with them, so we again had to go down and ask again.
5. No TV channels. I couldn't even get the Phillies game on TV there.
6. The carpets in the hallway had huge red stains in them. They honestly looked like blood stains. But, the carpet and bathroom in the room were relatively clean for the price.
7. Housekeeping came EVERY morning and banged on the door asking if we were staying or leaving.

I'd never stay here again. There are much better hotels in the area for similar price!

“the commericals tell the truth”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 May 2012

Our 1st stay in a Motel 6 may not be our last but the chain will never be our 1st choice.

Bad news: they aren’t kidding about the no frills, bare bones part. The property would need more amenities to be considered sparse. Good news: they aren’t kidding about the clean part either. It was a perfectly clean room with crisp white sheets & towels. Be aware, hey do not provide shampoo only bar soap in the bathroom.

The location of this motel is a bit odd. It’s feels isolated & desolate even though it’s across the street from the King of Prussia mall.

The clerk at the desk wasn't very knowledgeable. She could not direct us to one of the restaurants at the Mall.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Dirty, no towel service, no maid service, no iron / ironing board, NOTHING. Pretty sure drug dealing and prostitution are taking place in the halls and rooms.

STAY AWAY

Room Tip: Go ANYWHERE but here. This place is VERY DIRTY, VERY OLD, VERY GROSS. There is no maid service. No t...
