“Very good place to stay " considering"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

The hotel is very close to the king of prussia mall and surrounded by great restaurants.

Room was large with a separate living room and bedroom, both rooms have flatscreen tv's and there is a kitchen. All in all just perfect for a shopping stay( and for longer) We just stayed there for a night and when i sat down on the couch i smelled a "strange smell" a large stain on the couch made me conlude it was an urine stain. Went down to the reception and they immediatly offered us to change rooms. I declined as i was tired, was there for only one night and well had a seperate bedroom. When checking out i found out they cut my room rate by half which i found a decent thing to do. The hotel staff did everything right to resolve a bad situation.

I still wonder what kind of person makes such a stain a couch? Anyway great service and would stay here when visiting next time

Thank you so much for the great compliments to our staff and giving them kudos on resolving the problem you experienced with the couch. I assure you, we have recitified that situation and replaced the couch, we have also implemented an extra step in our inspection routine to ensure something like this will not happen again.

We are in the middle of renovations and all the sofa beds are being replaced in our suites, the transformation of the rooms and the hotel is coming along great and we are excited to debut our refreshed look. We look forward to your return, so that you can experience our new product.

Thank you again for being one of our valued guests and taking the time to give us feedback, it is greatly appreciated as we always look to improve our customer service.

“Hotel is clean, and has the best breakfast ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

I almost did not book because of the couple of bad reviews. I am so glad I did stay there. My room was clean including the furniture even though it was on an older floor. The whole hotel is being renovated so soon all rooms will be new.
THAT SAID, THE BEST THING IS THE FREE BREAKFAST. Amazing: warm sweet cinnamon buns, omlets, sausage, pancakes and all the other breakfast stuff. And had a staff member there constantly replenishing and making more omlets
the rates for the trade show were cheap, great value
the street address is confusing as the official address takes you to a closed road. so I had to circle around to find it. the hotel fronts on N Gulph but I never did find a way to access N Gulph from the parking lot

Your kind words and wonderful compliments for our Breakfast are greatly appreciated. Thank you for giving us a chance and allowing us to be your host hotel during your visit.

We are half way through our renovations and we hope to be fully renovated, public spaces included, around the end of March. Should you return for any of the Summer trade shows, we should be fully refreshed and you will get to experience a newly renovated room.

I am sorry to hear that the directions were a bit confusing and you were not able to access N Gulph road from our lot. When you return please stop at our Front Desk and one of our agents will be more than happy to show you how to get onto N Gulph road directly from our lot, as it is the easiest way to gain access to the convention center.

Thank you again for your feedback and great review, we certainly hope to be your hotel of choice should you return to our area.

“terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

Stayed for three nights after a walk in. The rates went up after the second night, very small room not very clean, very noisy, whole floor smelled like stale smoke, definitely not worth the money. I paid $139 per night then was told it would be $239 after the second night but was charged $166 for the last night, very confusing. When i checked in I left a credit card at the desk to cover any expenses but requested to pay by cash when i checked out, this was no problem for the member of staff at the time. On the second day when I went to get the room key recharged at the front desk the on call manager wanted me to pay my bill right there. I explained that I would have to return to my room and get more cash, this seemed not to be satisfactory and I was treated as if I was a criminal and was told " I'd better return with the cash" Of course I returned to pay my bill but was left feeling unwelcome.
I have never been so insulted!
I'm a professional musician and have travelled all over the united states and have stayed with Holiday inn before but I will not be back to this one!

Room Tip: Avoid like the plague!!!!!

“Very Satisfied”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

I needed to make a reservation for 2 nights, so I tried to do it on-line but the web site was acting up and I had to call. All I needed was a room with two separate beds for my son and myself. The person (Les) taking the reservation was very polite and very professional. After I was done and had given all the information, I had an afterthought. I asked if the room happened to have a fridge. Cheaper to take drinks that I already had at home than buying out of a vending machine.
So he said give me a second to check, He came back on the line and said, I have a suite available if you would like that. Meekly I asked how much more that would be, because honestly that was out of my budget. He replied, oh, the same price as the other room. I was shocked. So we went ahead and upgraded to the suite for the same price as a regular room.
When we arrived the next night, we went into the lobby and there were two gentlemen at the desk. i started to give my name to the one of them, when the second one finished answering for me, He smiled and said that he was the one that had taken the reservation the afternoon before.
The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. The rooms were large, and you could access the balcony from the living area and the bedroom. There was a king size bed and a pull-out sofa in the living room. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but I do have issues with hotel beds, I have a topper on mine at home, so your mileage may vary on that. The internet is wireless and also wired. That was pretty slow though. But this is the third hotel that we have stayed in, in the last few months and the only one that we were actually able to connect to wirelessly. It is really close to the mall, you could actually walk there if you wanted to.
We did not go the breakfast, so I can not comment on that, but I did take advantage of the fact that there is coffee available in the lobby 24 hours. There is ice and soda machines on all the floors. My son wanted to see the fitness room, and tried out each piece of equipment. They were all working fine. There was no problem parking right by the doors, and we left and came back numerous times. All of the staff were polite and helpful. If you don't feel like leaving the room, there are a number of restaurants that will deliver to the room. They have some menus at the front desk. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in this area.
