My husband and I stayed the evening after Thanksgiving. We had dinner in the bar which was very good. We had been the only customers all day (it was Black Friday). The bartender was very friendly and the service was great. The bed was very comfortable. I am a fanatic about cleanliness-the hotel passed. It is an older hotel carpets are stained and there is dust behind the bed (checking for bed bugs-none found) but I don't even dust behind my bed all the time LOL! The front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful. Overall a comfortable place to stay at a comfortable price.

At half the price of other lodging choices nearby, the Clarion is a good deal for the price paid.

Pro's: full hot breakfast buffet (better than many full service places I've stayed), friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed and bedding.

Con's: common areas of property have seen better days (example: obvious adhesive on room doors where you can tell some other sort of plaque had been removed from previous property operators), many rooms have sliding glass doors leading to interior walkway around pool (doesn't make a single girl feel safe--glad I didn't realize until morning or I might not have slept as well)

It looks like they are trying to revive an older property and are doing some things right. If you need a decent, clean room and a good breakfast in the morning before spending the day at the nearby King of Prussia Mall or Valley Forge, this is a good value leaving you more money to shop with. Just don't expect the Ritz.

I stayed here the night before the Philadelphia Marathon. It was an ideal place to stay. The room was excellent value for money. It was quiet. The hotel is conveniently located.

When we first checked in, our clerk was great but her partner left a lot to be desired. I don't enjoy being snickered at upon check in. The room was beautiful however there were a few issues. Mold in the shower, a blood stain on my pillow, and cigarette holes in the coverlet. We had also decided to check out the bar. We went down to grab something to eat. Not knowing that the kitchen closed at 11 (as there was no time information in the room), found the bar staff to be rude and in a don't bother me attitude. I don't enjoy treated me dumb as this staff treated me and my b/f. I'd rather drive off property to another bar before going back to that one. Upon check out, front desk staff was great! Your morning girls are definetely an asset to your hotel. I'd recommend the hotel, but not the bar. I'm a Sales Manager and appalled with the level of customer service at the bar.
